Mazatlan Family Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Thomasville

We have been eating at Mazatlan for years and always have had great service. However on 09/08/2012 we visited Mazatlan and had the absolute worst service I have ever had in a restaurant before. We arrived at approximately 6:20 p.m., and were seated immediately. The restaurant wasn't very busy and it took probably 10-15 minutes for our waiter to take our order. After we ordered and was waiting on our food to arrive my daughter accidentally spilled her water on the table. Our waiter saw us and walked by while we were cleaning up the spill. He just looked at us and kept walking, not offering to help or anything. My mother had to keep going back to the wait table and getting towels because our waiter obviously wasn't going to help. I kept noticing people getting their food before us and they had ordered after us. Well our food finally came out at 7:00 p.m. 40 minutes after we had arrived. The food was lukewarm and they had messed my order up. I will never step foot in Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant again. There are much better Mexican restaurants in...

Well in the past 2 weeks, apparently they've reduced the chipotle sauce to 2 oz cups and charge $2 a pop for them, charge you extra to correct the order they messed up that they admitted to messing up, lowered the quality of their food, and hired someone with a pisspoor attitude huffing and puffing at coworkers and customers. I didn't even order during peak hours, i ordered before 5, maybe even before 4:30. They've raised the prices of things over the past few years and it's whatever. They've messed my order up many times over the years before and it was understandable because of how slam packed they were (when I order during peak). But I have never been scammed this hard and had such a miserable experience overall at any restaurant in Thomasville ever. Now I need to find a new mexican restaurant because I will sooner eat at Taco Bell than touch this place again, and I will be damned if I go...

I absolutely love Mazatlan and I've been eating here ever since I was a kid.The service is always amazing and the servers are always polite and never rude.Along with great service their food is AMAZING and in all the years that I've been eating here I've never once had anything wrong with my food.The restaurant is clean and so so are the bathrooms.Everything about Mazhatlan is good and I honestly could eat there for the rest of my life and never get tired of it.I recommend the ACP dish,it's a bed of rice with chicken and cheese on top.You can get grilled or shredded chicken but I always get grilled although the shredded is delicious too.The dish is filling and cheap.I'm such a picky eater and I love a lot of their food so if you're picky I think you should give it a try!I hope my review helped...
