I first started patronizing S2 in Orland/Tinley Park and it was a phenomenal experience. I even had the opportunity to meet the owner now I’ve moved over to homewood and I’m going to the one in HARVEY and the service there sucks. There used to be a gentleman that worked there that was phenomenal like my experience in Orland/Tinley, but now the women that service the HARVEY area are absolutely terrible !!!!! This is my second bad experience with the Harvey location. They have nasty attitudes on the phone. They have nasty attitudes in person when I was there today I told the lady she didn’t have to have a nasty attitude and it wasn’t necessary and she told me she didn’t need my business. You telling me you don’t need my business. You have a nasty attitude and You’re not the owner how you gonna tell me you don’t want my business OWNED We are black and we need to do better. Maybe you guys don’t care anymore about the service that your customers receive because you have so many locations popping up everywhere but we still have to do better as a community and as a culture. I have even visited the location on stony Island and the one on 55th St. so I’m a frequent S2 customer but the one in harvey is gonna make me lose my taste for all of it. AAAANNND this nasty person followed me to the door AFTER I walked OUT as if she wanted to fight!!

I had a $25 off coupon with uber eats so figured I'd use it for this restaurant. I ordered in the morning online with a 3pm scheduled delivery time. At 2:30, I received a message that my order was "canceled by the merchant" with a message from them saying they were "busy and could not get to my order", and that there might be another establishment I might want to order from in the area. I immediately drove to the restaurant and there were absolutely NO customers there. (see pic) Not only did I not get the chance to use my coupon, but the prices of the food in the restaurant are much higher than the prices listed online. I had my mouth set on this meal since this morning so I ordered anyway, to go. Even after I showed the note of them canceling my order to the cashier, they made no attempt to reconcile for the inconvenience they caused by canceling my online order and for me having to drive there instead. I pray that the food is at least good after this terrible experience. If not, they should just shut down. Update: the fried catfish was seasoned well but overcooked, but the lambchops were delicious.

Prepared just right; including the sides. I mean, downright yummy. One order was for my bestie who was on the fence about lamb and ate each piece! Thank you her and General Manager for excellent customer service, detailed explanation of pricing, offers, dining in, etc. Check the prices first. This is a casual dining/carryout establishment and the prices reflect the quality put into the service. Articulate HOW you’d like you food prepared in advance to avoid any problems in the end. I honestly was semi-disappointed with my order from the Harvey location of S2 this past Sunday. I reluctantly placed my first UberEats order because after trying to call by phone for 30 mins; the phone kept going to VM.

I ordered two Chicken Alfredo pastas with an upgrade of shrimp and broccoli on BOTH for an upcharge of course. No problem.

I arrive, stood at the counter for minimally 5 minutes without being acknowledged although 2 female staff members were "working." One was surprisingly on the phone seemingly completing some kind of paperwork and the other was tending to a minor child in the waiting area.

I understand that staffing is a challenge in this current day. However, even if you're on a call; there's a way of signaling to a waiting customer.... I'll be right with you.

It was not until I spoke first that I was tended to. My order was ready and at this point I KNEW to check it before leaving.

There was NO broccoli at all on one of the dishes and literally ONE broccoli floret on the other. The young lady shrugged her shoulders as to say she didn't prepare the food (which she didn't.) She asked if I paid for the upgrade and we both concurred that I did.

She sent the food back and it took another 10 plus minutes for the "partially cooked" broccoli to be added to the overcooked pasta. Deep sigh. Of course because this was a carryout order; we didn't know that until we were home.

During the 30 minute window of trying to reach the Harvey location; I called the one on 87th and Stony Island. They answered right away and shared that the franchises are not connected.

Although I have patronized both locations in the past; the one in the Chicago has proven to be better from the customer service to the food. Continually, although the Harvey location was more convenient; improvement is needed.

Had I not picked my food up and it been delivered via UberEats; I would have been screwed. Always listen to your first mind and check your order prior to leaving the...

This was the worst dining exit ever had a lady name Darci took my order today I ordered a cheese burger medium well and hand cut fries and a pop I the cheese burger was well well done totally over cooked the fries were a hot mess I took it back and asked could I get something else and was told no I tried to reach out to the owner she was extremely rude and unprofessional and refused to let me order something g else so finally my son asked if he could just get something it was terrible the food was horrible and while I was waiting on the food that the owner name Sue told my son she would finally replace after being in this restaurant for 1.5 hours totally insane this is how they treat their customers the police was call on me for no reason at all I told them I was waiting on my son’s food that was done out of being down right low down this place want last until the year is out they should be closed down the food is not good at all be ware because what they did to me they will do it to you the food on their menu is processed beans out of a can the yams including other things on the menu their are way better places to eat than this pray this never happens to you the lady Darci is making banana pudding with no ingredients put on the packaging you don’t know what’re getting she’s making this at her home this place is not a safe place to eat for anyone and their families if I could give this...
