Actually waiting on my food right now with excitement, my first time visiting the store/ restaurant (not currently able to sit you have to order to go) yesterday. Today again I'm ordering the same Jollof Rice which is usually consist of these main ingredients: Rice, tomatoes and tomato paste, onions, cooking oil, also included either fish, lamb, goat meat, chicken, or beef. However, everyone has their own preference when cooking this dish. I really really enjoyed my food and today I returned. I must thank them for yesterday because they were closing yet still served me and ❣️❣️❣️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🎉the food was so good I forgot to share. 🙏🏽 Forgive me, for I did not sin lol that was mines. Anyway, I love the beef pie it was hot and delicious with what seem like a hint of cinnamon OMG DELICIOUS! Thanks for such good food. Now to those whom may be confused it is a small store and carry varies items, and the restaurant is attached so just order or call ahead because you can't eat in the restaurant although the food is so delicious you got to go home or somewhere and just eat😁❤️them.

Read morelisten to the reviews i’m begging you. I skipped past these and went ahead and tried the food . My boyfriend called to place an order on our way there and when he asked what meats were in the ayamesa he was hung up on . I called back still trying to place an order and this time was successful. For the price of the food you would think it would be bigger portions and prepared alot better as well . My boyfriend ordered ayamesa and 50% of it was grease and mystery meat . The meat was tough and unflavored. The jollof rice had to be prepared in the microwave because it was very hard and bland as well . Most of the “meat” were bones ! The only good thing was the egusi stew and iyan . Run from this place please ! the area isn’t even the threat to your humanity it is the food !😫. Overpriced & disgusting . I recommend Abundant african cuisine for better...
Read moreWe ordered from this restaurant for the first time because our normal south suburban Nigerian restaurant is closed on Mondays. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! The egusi was so salty that my blood pressure was instantly elevated. The fried rice was okay, but the pieces of chicken including with it was horrible. They were small and tasted old. The jollof rice was burnt and the included fish was small and over-fried. This is by far the worse Nigerian restaurant I’ve ever had in the entire city of Chicago (north side, south side, suburbs) I would give them zero stars if I could and actually give them pointers on how to make some...
