Dunkin' — Restaurant in Thornton Township

Re: Awful experience at The Dunkin Donuts on Torrence Calumet City; on 10/31 early Morning shift - breakfast. I was insulted by the "Assistant Manager" - at the store. Why? - Because I asked her a question ❓ Manager had announced: "that my order was ready. I asked her if I could have a "plastic bag" & "2 creams". Manager snapped at me, saying: "We don't give plastic bags in this Municipality. You already have a paper bag, so you would need to pay for a bag." I replied that "that is not correct". Manager replied that she is the Manager now, & it doesn't matter what the store did previously. Manager "snarled" at me. She was extremely rude to me. She was also "snapping" at her employees. She used me as a "Training Tool" for her employees. Her employees were also frightened of the Manager. Manager treated me as if I was trying to ask for "free breakfast". She was humiliating. I hope that I never have to go to that Dunkin Donuts again. Another Customer overhead her conversation, and other Customer even tried to correct the manager. 2nd Customer felt that I was being mistreated by Manager. We had a strange expe here today with the service. It seemed no one was on the same page or working in a coordinated manner. We had three different people at the window. One guy took our payment and handed us part of our order, and disappeared. Then after waiting quite a while for the rest of it another girl came to the window and asked us what we ordered. We described our order and then, with a blank face, asked us what we were still waiting for. We replied to the rest of the order. She then apologized and disappeared. Finally, another woman came and handed us the rest of the food without saying anything and shut the window. We were still waiting on one final item - a coffee. Finally, the second gal came back and again asked what we were waiting for, and we said a coffee. She promptly grabbed it from right in front of her and handed it to us. We finally had our complete order and left. That all took over 10 minutes for 2 drinks, 3 sandwiches, and 2 donuts. Since recently moving in the area, this is the closest Dunkin to home. And after several visits to this location, most times I feel unwelcomed, rushed, and given someone elses interpretation of what I ordered. I usually only use the drive through at this spot, and the associates working d.t. seem to always have a negative attitude. Please just give customers a moment to view the menu and order, especially when, in your haste to move cars through the line, you happen to get orders wrong or some other mishap. I ordered two donuts today and when I received the blueberry and chocolate long-john, they were touching in the bag; chocolate smeared on the blueberry. Who wants that? I explained to the clerk that it's best to put a piece of film between donuts, some people don't enjoy chocolate blueberry long-john donuts. I feel like some people get good service and some don't. But honestly I don't know which is best, this location, Dolton Dunkin or South Holland... They all have they're flaws, but this Cal City location just does...
