Fisherman's Island — Restaurant in Thornton Township

I order from the restaurant in Lansing on Torrence 3 times out of the week and the food is perfect. They respect that I can’t have seasoning and always, always do a wonderful job. I order on the weekend this past two weeks the young lady that answer the phone is rude and the broccoli is raw, my order had to be done over because they put seasoning on it again. I pay for my food and it should be steamed and prepared right. Who ever the manager is need to care about their customers. I was told by the young lady that there’s no way to get in touch with the manager. I would appreciate just being able to let them know how unprofessional the weekend crew is and how the food is not steamed. No I won’t be going back to that one unless it’s a weekday. That’s the only time the food and service is good.I hope that doesn’t change. July 28, 2021 Decided to try again , I really hoped that the service was better and they cared about their customers again. But nope, once again I ordered no seasoning. They just put too much and the food is too salty. Money wasted again. I just wish the owner cared enough to read this and do something about customers being upset and having to go to another city where they care about fixing...

I visited a couple of months ago for the first time. The cashier took my order and walked away. I sat and waited. After about 40minutes she then ask was I still waiting on my food, I told her yes and she starts to ask whoever was in the back where my food was and then tells me I'm sorry, give me like15 minutes. I told her she can just give me a refund, she says no I promise it will be ready in fifteen minutes. She gets on the phone and has a whole private conversation with someone that was locked up. I waited for about ten more minutes and then asked for a drink for the inconvenience, she replied that she was not allowed to do that, so I brought it. I got my food finally and left. Was very disappointed after my first visit. I returned about a month ago and got much better service and much more professionalism. Hopefully it continues to get better. The food was great and I'll be going back...

I’d give them 0 stars if I could. Horrible. I ordered a combo platter with crab, shrimp, and a lobster tail in Cajun seasoning from them 03/2020 when my food arrived it was cold and there was no seasoning on it at all. I called and called no answer. Then, trying to give them a second chance I ordered the same thing dipped in all 3 sauces only this time the food was room temperature, they didn’t give me my crab legs and the corn on the cob had clearly was overcooked and had been sitting out of water for a while. Even the presentation of the store is real mediocre. The one light skin or maybe Mexican girl had a really bad attitude while I watched her on the phone taking orders.
