Later in this post your see why I gave it a 3 and not a 1. 1st my husband order over the phone we literally was in the parking lot but we knew something was wrong because the total was way to high for just 1 chicken & spanish calzone. So I ran in before they started the order. Turn out he rang us up for a small pizza. He apologize as I did the same because my husband ask for a pizone and he assumed he was trying to say pizza. So that was all cleared up, I paid and he said 30 minutes. Therefore, we went to the gas station, Walgreens and Aldi's. When we got back my husband ran in to see if it was ready but no 1 was up front then the cook came to the front but never acknowledge him so he's inquiring about his order. The cook told him to ring the bell. Remind you we literally has been the only order in the store the entire time. My husband couldn't understand why he would tell him to ring the bell although he was standing right. Now, don't get me wrong whether he could or couldn't actually hand him over the food he could have been much more professional and said just a moment let me grab the cashier for you. Instead he just began going in on my husband and they are going back and forth and finally the guy that took the order came up front. Apologize (after hearing the story) gave us a Free liter pop. As promised I said I'll tell why I gave 3 instead of 1 is because he was very apologetic and not only did he apologize to my husband but he came out to the parking lot apologized continuously and shook my husband hand as he apologize 1 last time. I thanked him for it because he didn't have to do that but he did and I appreciated it. Sadly to say my husband has ordered from there several times before but the cook must have had a bad day because it even showed in the food....
Read moreI'm only basing my review on the pizza that I got from the display case at the front counter, that's all. Based on that alone, it is really good and one slice was filling for me. If I were to critique anything is that it may could have used a little bit more sauce. I know that there were sauce on there, but I also know that the longer a slice of pizza sits in a heated turning display case, the sauce gets absorbed into the crust. There's just no remedy for this, except to dispose of the slices after a certain amount of time. And I'm sure management has tried this and it's just not cost effective. Can it be managed? Can it be done? Of course but they sell so much that the turnover alone kind of regulates the time that it spends in the display case anyway. The young lady whom was helping me was very knowledgeable and helped me even weigh out buying an entire pie as opposed to a couple slices. I had concluded that it was more economical to just get the two slices as opposed to an entire pie. Ms. Martinez (whose name I got off the receipt) told me about a closer location for me because I shared that I was coming out of Chicago and was out this way to get cigarettes once a month. That small talk to me is very important because look at the knowledge I gained from what she knew and that is appreciated! Every time I come through Lansing I will be stopping for a slice or two. Read moreHonestly love the pizza but I'm big mad right now. Ordered the pound of shrimp online 11.61 cents per pound via their menu. I called and placed the order and my husband went to go pick it up, upon coming home my husband was super pissed off at me and said that my shrimp was $20 and I was also charged an extra 60 cents for cocktail sauce I didn't order. I called and asked to speak to the manager and when the girl walked away she came back and the manager wouldn't even talk to me and told her to tell me that the price has went up and they haven't updated the menu. The entire reason that I didn't get the dinner and just got the shrimp is because I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on dinner and the menu price for the shrimp dinner on their menu as is right now is $17. So I spent $4 MORE than I wanted to spend with no resolution because it's just okay to the owner to not update their online prices which I'm sure is the exact prices that everybody is looking at when placing orders? Like nobody is going in there and looking at a menu and ordering their food.
I feel really scammed and it makes me not want to go back at all after being a loyal...
