I've lived in the area for over 2 years and have been nothing but disappointed each and every time I visit this location in Torrence. Which has only been 3-4 times because I'm always skeptical. But love Wendy's so much that I end up giving in with hopes that things would've changed since my last visit. But, Nope! After the second disappointment, a long wait in drivethru(which then led me to the lobby where I waited another 20mins), and numbers other customers complaining in line as well, I reached out to corporate which took 2 phone calls and a voicemail before anyone got back to me. I explained to whomever responded how unsatisfied I was and that during my visit there was not an adult on staff but just a bunch of teenagers running the place, she only took my complaint with no resolve, apology or anything! I wasn't surprised since the atmosphere of the entire place was unprofessional any way. I went back tonight craving a combo that I frequent from other Wendy's whenever I'm outside of my neighborhood, and once again I was met with disappointment. I received my order through drivethru (and by the way they had no receipt to give me, so I had the employee to use my phone and take a picture of my screen totals 🙄) and proceeded to leave when I decided to check my bag when I realized my sandwiches were made wrong. I parked, went inside and let them know that I order this all the time from other Wendy's and they're the only ones who's made it differently. The manager(the 1st one I've ever seen btw) stood back there, said nothing while all(and I do mean everyone stopped gathered around and gossiped) the teenagers all looked at each other in confusion and played the blame game. There I stood waiting an extensive time waiting on my sandwiches to be re-made all the while about 10 ppl in line waiting for their orders to even be started. This place is a complete joke! I am going to local government to find a resolve for this place since the employees and staff can't seem to find any. There is no reason why this place should have all of these complaints from different people here on this review. We deserve to be treated fairly and kind when we're spending our hard earned dollars. And we certainly expect to get what we pay for. Out of all of these complaints I haven't seen the owner/manager/franchise owner or whomever speak one time on these reviews to anyone. When I ordered my two simple chkn blt with light Mayo and one add pickle the receipt wasn’t correct and I mentioned it to the cashier asianya which she then tells me my order is correct. I decided to open my sandwich and of course it isn’t the way I asked it to be. So I handed it back and her and the women in the window came to look at me and started laughing. So when they replaced the second sandwich it had light Mayo but no pickle. The other sandwich had heavy Mayo but my husband just said that he would eat it. As I’m pulling off thinking they corrected the issue I open it up and no pickles on the second sandwich! I then proceeded into the establishment, And the sandwich maker comes aggressively towards the counter and stated that the sandwich I handed back had no pickles and it did. I opened it in the drive thru! Not my fault that you cannot remember the order that you should have made correctly! She said that she needed help or she was going to loose it! This was the young girl with short dreads you choose to work at Wendy’s I didn’t ask you to work there so just do the job that you get paid for! I then leave and because I had no bag after being upset that they couldn’t get it right twice, I left the bag in my car and as I walked to the car my sandwich fell as I was going for my door handle! I asked them to make it agin because had it been done correctly the first time this wouldn’t have happened. Customer service sucks! I asked the “manager” with long hair what her name was and she said she couldn’t give out her name!! It’s okay I will be speaking with her general manager or escalate this issue to corporate. Read moreWell this review is one i must call the unique review. Why do I call it that you will see as this review comes to a close. I first must tell all the important stuff, food hot and fresh chili is great and frosties are always a great hit. Now the cleanliness of the resturant was exceptional. This resturant along with 4 others is under a 22 yr vet. Ms. Yolanda. This is the district manager, however she's running a dual role at the moment she's also the GM of this location. When it comes to hard work and digging yoyr hills in this woman is not a stranger. She's a working district mgr. Not a you'll do or else dm. Shes a teacher a leader one employee was "quoted stating she is firm strict but shes a worker who don't ask us to do if she will not do". Now back to my statement earlier. There is a 4 month employee that has not only shocked me but impressed me his name is Unique Florence. This man is a Grill operator. Look out Wendy's given proper training from Yolanda then you will have powerhouse dm' s. Yolanda great job. To her team i suggest smile more greet and thank the guest and upsale by suggestive selling.
Well i am not one too play and you guys know tgat. I cameback to this Wendy's last night they screwed the whole order up. Left msg last night no call back. Left another one today. No call back. Had to call back and got angry with the employee and finally got Stephanie on phone. She got it straightened out. Then when I arrived omg. Customers were saying they were waiting 15 mins for and order demanding refunds. Why??? Its the nightshift. They are the worse of the worse. Soneone throw Trinity and Stephanie a life preserver.
