Burger King — Restaurant in Thornton

I went here for the first time today, with a neighbor who loves Burger King. We had just been searching a different neighborhood for someone's furry family member and decided to stop here on the way home. I am a vegetarian so I planned on just having coffee and thought there would likely be some sort of sweet I could nibble on. I wasn't really hungry. I really went just for having a sit. My neighbor went because she'd been craving Burger King for a while. When I walked, in late this morning, I took note of how clean and neat it was. And the people who work there were nice. I got coffee, which they made freshly. I was impressed with this coffee actually. It wasn't bitter and had a nice taste, and I appreciated that they made a pot. And I got two cookies, which were soft and full of semi-sweet chocolate morsels. My neighbor got a bacon cheeseburger or something that started with the word bacon and her meal was 17 something plus tax. She got half of her order with onion rings and the other half with cheese sticks. I saw that those servings were nice and big (as should be for that price lol). But there were just a couple pieces of bacon on it and that was disappointing for her, especially because she loves Burger king, hadn't been there in a while and was craving the bacon cheeseburger. She's still enjoyed it and I'm glad we stopped through. Unfortunately, I spilled my coffee when I got in! But that's okay, I made another pot. But I did like there's better, imagine that! So, this is something crazy but I am honestly tired of how bad I was treated the other day. I went to this location the other day, and as I walked in, I felt super uncomfortable. I was ordering some food, and there was a lady next to the register, and her name is Lourdes. She was talking to the cashier in Spanish about how big our order was, and she said that's why we were fat cause we eat like pigs. I was honestly so freaking mad, and my wife told me not to say anything to her. Lourdes has a big mouth. She needs to understand that people eat whatever the heck they want. If I want to eat 100 burgers, then I will eat them because I AM PAYING FOR THEM. I understand that's her job, but she doesn't have the right to laugh about people. Yes, I do understand Spanish, but I did not say anything. I asked for the managers name, and they told me that her name was Maricela. They gave me her phone number but the number apparently was wrong. Then, before I left, I asked them for one of the cheese burgers, and she ignored me. I grabbed my bag and left. I would definitely not recommend this place at all, and I really hope that lady leaves if she is going to judge other people. That was not the first time we had an issue with Lourdes. This is the third time. Maricela, if you really care about your store, then you need fewer people like her. She shouldn't judge anyone else cause she looks like she ate...

Out running around town tonight. stopped in and went through the drive up. my front bumper hardly hit where the speaker was located. I didn't even have my window all the way down and vaguely heard a mumble of something and was not sure if he was talking to me or not so I didn't say anything. I waited quietly and patiently. I expected to hear "Welcome to Burger King, order when you're ready" Instead I heard "Ya ready" (Really??) I then said "we just pulled up". The jerk then said "yeah,.. 30 seconds ago"

If I chose to sit there for 5 minutes its my damn choice!!!! I then told the little prick "I'm sorry sir, but you're rude and we'll take our business else where. All he said was "ok" OK?? Not I'm sorry, kiss my ass just ok?? Before I left the parking lot I got even more mad. I pulled in the parking spot and went in. the little jerk was standing there. I asked for the name and a number for a manager. I placed my call while I was on my way to subway up the street. I left my name and number for a call back. if I don't hear something back you bet I'll stop in and make sure someone hears my complaint. the little jerk I was dealing with in the drive up was Mario. if this is the kind of people they hire I'll never go to that location again. by the reviews on here I'm not the only one with...
