I use to love this place, great food and very clean space and the music is always good. Yet today our experience was horrible. I completely understand that it looks bad for us to bring in food from another place. Yet it was only fries and chicken nuggets from McDonald's. My child has SPD and is on the spectrum of Autism, so he literally only eats those two things. The waiter told me we could have the food in here, I said I understand but it's for my child he will only eat this. And before I could tell her about my child and why she said. I ordered the Camarones con Crema, and the shrimp came out disgusting. When we brought this to the attention of the server they took it and came back claiming it’s supposed to taste like that. My family was with me at the time and my mom, sister, and I have all worked with food. We reassured her that was the problem and she insisted otherwise and was just being difficult through the entire process. We asked if we could get a refund or the plate remade and she refused. Finally after standing our ground we got our money back for that plate and left because it ruined our appetite. The service is good, the waitresses are very attentive. If the seating is full there is an outside patio to sit. If sitting. Outside isn't your thing, then waiting is the only option. If it is full with people the wait for food will probably be a good 20 minutes. At least from what I have waited the last few times I have been here. I ordered the chicken gorditas. I thought they were going to be your regular gorditas filled with beans, choice of meat lettuce, sour cream and cheese.
