7/5/2014 - Glad you think they've made improvements - we haven't seen any. I really like DD and this location is close to us, but WE'RE NOT GOING HERE ANYMORE. Today we went at 10AM - they weren't busy. My wife has a bad reaction to caffeine so she orders decaf. After suspecting they have NOT given here decaf on several occasions, I now watch as the order is filled. About 40% of the time, the order is filled with CAFFEINATED. Let me just say here that filling orders for coffee and doughnuts isn't exactly rocket science. They have a computerized system where the person taking the order at the register enters the coffee order in the system and the person filling the order reads it off a screen in front of them - this is about 3 feet away from where the order is actually taken at the register. The problem is that the person filling the order doesn't really completely read their screen. They just read the SIZE and start filling the cups. At very many DD's in the North East the person taking the order picks up the cup size ordered and MARKS the cup with the coffee order and passes it to the person filling the coffee order. That reduces errors because the person filling the order IS FORCED to read the order ON THE CUP. Today we got more caffeinated instead of the decaf ordered. A Manager took the order. I offered this suggestion TO THE MANAGER and she obviously wasn't even interested in listening to my suggestion, since she was busy defending their system all the time I was relating my suggestion to her. She said " that system doesn't work when they are busy". I told her it certainly works better for the customers that way, since they have a better chance of getting what they ordered. Apparently having the customer get what they've ordered is completely secondary and obviously not important. That's certainly the impression I got. The only thing said to the girl filling the order by the manager was "watch your screen honey". Additionally, most of the tables were dirty and the restroom was as well. Since they weren't very busy, there was ample opportunity to CLEAN. While we were there, a customer ASKED that the tables be cleaned so they could sit and eat. This all adds up to VERY POOR MANAGEMENT, and complete lack of work ethic. Obviously, the customer is not important enough to WANT to get the order correct. Just think about how the product is made if the rest of the operation is this sloppy and dirty. We've had enough. I'd be glad to offer to MANAGE this store - or better yet, maybe I'll set up another franchise right next door and offer a superior product and MUCH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE IN A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT. Good luck with your next trip to DD...

(FYI, Denver, Dunkin is not new. They used to be all over here, then they disappeared seemingly over night, and now they're back again).
Well, I'm done with this Dunkin Donuts now. I was stoked that they are back in the Denver area. And there is one down the street from me.
(About15 Feb 2014) I called them before to make sure it really was a Dunkin Donuts. It was. So I went through their drive through. Yes, a drive through at Dunkin Donuts. Aaand they messed up the order. Ok. Whatever we're all human. Went through the drive through again and got it corrected.
Went back a few weeks later (02 March 2014) while my wife stayed home, and they messed up the order again. Now there is a developing pattern.
So I go in this time to correct the order AGAIN. And I see the girl reach in (unloved) and take the incorrect doughnuts out and put it back up in the rack. Yes. She didn't toss it like she was supposed to. How do they know that I didn't put a booger in them because I was mad that they messed up the order again?
My wife wanted me to come home because she was hungry. So I didn't demand a refund like I should have. No doughnuts for me. If she wants to eat them, that's her call.
So I am at a red light, so I bring up Google Maps to call them and talk to a manager. It's an 801 number now to a place called "Sizzling Platters?" I get home and go to Dunkin Donuts website. Same number.
WTF, Dunkin Donuts? What are you trying to hide? This makes me wonder if you're dealing dirty deeds and practicing shady business.
Also, good luck finding their number listed now. Every Dunkin Donuts has the same number. It is even that way on their website. What are you hiding, or afraid of??
Yeah. I'm done with them. Unless they change...
Read moreI love Dunkin Dunuts. My favorite donut is the "Chocolate Kreme" filled. I was ecstatic to see this location open up - it's a reasonable distance from me. Yesterday I stopped by to pick up my favorite donuts for breakfast this morning. The staff certainly made me smile with their enthusiasm. The staff was great.
Unfortunately, when I opened the box, the normal bonus of chocolate oozing out was missing. Oh well. I took a bite expecting to get a mouth full of the chocolate goodness and was disappointed. The donuts were sadly understuffed with just a little of the chocolate cream at the back of the donuts.
Ok, bad batch.
Today I stopped by again to let them know of the unfortunate missing chocolate when again the staff was great. They handed me another half dozen of chocolate filled donuts. Something told me to take a peek so when I opened the box, the oozing chocolate was again missing. I asked about it and was told that's the way that location does it. I was also assured this batch was properly stuffed.
Nope. This batch had the same or less chocolate than the first. Not sure what it is but this location doesn't stuff the chocolate in like any other Dunkin Donuts I've ever been to (and I've visited...
