Really good Mexican sandwiches! They have crispy, buttered, grilled thick baguettes to make the sandwiches. They have a bunch of already made up sandwiches on the menu, but the long and short of it is it's like a custom sub shop on steroids with a grill. Choose your meat, veg, and dressing or heat and they grill it up right in front of you and top with fresh avocado slices. Ready to take to go or feel free to eat in the little diner if you don't mind elbows and unlevel bar-height chairs.
A hidden gem at this place (besides the pork leg and chorizo "Cuatrera" sandwich 😁) is the fresh fruit they're constantly cutting up behind the counter to make fresh emulsified fruit water called aguas frescas. Price is a little expensive. I bought a norteña sanwich (torta). This one has choriso, no flavor, milanesa(meat)no flavor either like the cheese. All the portion are a little bit, is like they are count it, the good thing is it has onion, tomatoe, mayonnaise, ahuacate, beans and chilli. Good portions of this.
