. When coming to this Starbucks, I expected friendly service, a tasty drink, and a comfortable environment to study. My expectations where instantly met as soon as I walked in. The staff was friendly, and we joked around a bit. They made my drink fast, and I had a place to sit down and work. The atmosphere was calm and the seats where comfortable. This Starbucks exceeded my expectations and I had a good experience overall. The barista at the register smiled and had a friendly personality. He was patient with me, even though I was indecisive and slow. We joked about iced white milk and we talked a bit about other costumers. This might be a bias since I work at a coffee shop and understand the hardship of customer service, but I had a good experience with him. He helped my order go through smoothly, and even immediately offered to cover the 26 cents that I owed him. I gave him a good tip and sat down to wait for my drink. I didn’t have to wait long for my drink, and they brought my bagel to me after it was done heating. My beverage was made wade correctly, but it could have been blended better. The overall presentation of my drink was lacking. The flavor made up for the presentation, but the texture wasn’t quite what I wanted. I ordered a strawberry acai with lemon extract, sweetened and blended. When I ordered this at another Starbucks, the texture and presentation was better. This time the texture not very viscous and wasn’t quite icy enough. This Starbucks proved to be a good study environment. There were plenty of comfortable seats that had room for my large computer and backpack. The lighting was dim, but just bright enough to be easy on my eyes. Other than the quiet chatter of fellow costumers, and the pouring of coffee, there wasn’t a lot of distracting noise. The table had room for both my computer, and my girlfriend’s computer. Starbucks provided free WIFI and easily accessible outlets at every table. The Starbucks WIFI was fast, so I was able to easily access the internet. The comfortable environment along with my tasty drink made this Starbucks a great study environment. Due to the friendly, quick service, tasty drink, and comfortable environment, this Starbucks fulfilled all of my expectations. If I were to rate this Starbucks from 1-10, I would give it 8-10. The friendly environment made me feel comfortable and satisfied. If the presentation and texture of my drink had been better, my rating would have been higher. I received great costumer experience and will...
Read moreI will start out by saying that Two employees that work at this location were involved in an assault that took place at my place of business yesterday! Chis Mathews came into my shop with three other people and assaulted my staff on camera. Jordan then posted on social media threats to my staff and there family’s all While wearing her Starbucks apron standing in Starbucks located off highway 7. Flipping the camera off with her name tag her Starbucks logo and all saying here’s a better picture of my face! After speaking to the manager Jason he said he wasn’t sure if Starbucks could really do anything to Chris because he was off the clock but to email him and his regional manager the pictures of the girl in there apron standing behind the Starbucks counter flipping off social media while threatening people and he would see if it was grounds for Starbucks to get involved!!! Wow just wow! Looks like I’ll be reaching out above in store management. Thanks Jason I’m Very clear on how highway 7 runs there store and Staff! I’ll be emailing your corporate the pictures video of the assault and an over Veiw of our conversation today. Is it me or should Chris and Jordan be held responsible for there actions on and off the clock and especially while wearing your Logo standing behind your counter on your clock!! Shame on Starbucks for not expecting more out of there staff and...
Read moreI'm getting increasingly frustrated with Starbucks. First, the tipping expectation at the drive-thru window is out of hand. I drove myself there, I'm handed a drink through my car window, and yet they immediately flash the tip screen before I even get my order. Tipping is appropriate for delivery drivers or waitstaff who provide table service — not when I'm retrieving a drink I paid for while sitting in my own car. If Starbucks employees want tips, there should be an added level of service — not just handing out an order.
Second, Starbucks no longer provides drink stoppers or even a sticker seal unless you specifically ask for one. The last three times I've ordered, my drink spilled all over my car because the lid design is not secure without a stopper. Today, when I asked the barista if the policy had changed, she avoided giving a clear answer and simply told me I "just have to ask for one." The problem is that most customers won’t think to ask until it’s too late and their car is already a mess.
It’s disappointing to see a company regress on basic customer experience. Instead of making improvements, it feels like Starbucks is cutting corners and lowering standards while expecting customers to make up the difference with tips. Between the aggressive tipping prompts and the decline in service, I no longer feel motivated to visit —...
