We had high hopes for this place as the prior restaurant was somewhat decent and it seemed to have decent reviews. What a "disappointment" is putting it mildly. The food was absolutely horrible. Almost a glorified Taco Bell of sorts with more options. Carne Asada was so dry they had to put green chili on it and it was not good. Beans were canned, tortillas were defiantly not homemade and stale and the queso was basically Velveeta with canned chilis in it. Oh.. and the rice, not a chance. Cold and sticky like it had been sitting for a long time. That was just my meal!! My wife's was worse. She had the smothered burrito and same thing. Stale and cold and no flavor or taste. Neither of us could even eat a quarter of our food before we gave up. There was absolutely nothing authentic about this place. I will say the service was good and the margaritas were decent but all ice for the cost. I have always maintained that I do not spend our money @ corporate restaurants and unfortunately we are one and done with this one. Spend the extra few minutes and drive to Brighton as there are so many different "authentic' Mexican restaurants there where the food is phenomenal!! If you going to hate on my review... go see...
Read moreWe have been to this place twice since we learned about it 2 weeks ago. Everything here is incredible. The AL Pastor tacos are the best tacos I have ever had. The al pastor burrito is really good as well if you prefer burritos. The chimichanga is perfectly fried. The service was incredible even when we were there 45 minutes before close. We also ordered a chile relleno which was Crispy, cheesy and a little spicy just like it should be. I would also highly recommend the queso fundido, we order this every time we go to a Mexican restaurant and I can honestly this one is the best I have ever had in Colorado. The only reason I am giving this a 4 star review is due to the margaritas. The margaritas themselves are delicious however after 2 full sized margaritas I still felt sober. I could not taste any tequila in them which makes me wonder if there was even any at all. Over all I would recommend this place to anyone just maybe order a double shot of tequila in...
Read moreSalsa was spicy good, and chips also refilled. Food was good, but portions average (nothing to take home and I'm not even a big eater).
Had supreme burrito which was tasty. It comes either chicken or steak per the menu. I said chicken, waiter said "grilled chicken" I said yes thinking I was confirming my choice. Bill arrives and I get a $2.75 upcharge. That was deceitful, whatever chicken was standard would have been fine.
Husband had the chili rellenos, which were good but extremely tiny, the plate was mostly rice/beans/lettuce.
Service was attentive (lost a star for the sneaky way to upcharge). Decor doesn't look like a Mexican restaurant at all, music was...
