My fiance and I just left after spending half an hour in the drive-thru. We had to come back as we were given someone else's order. This was probably not the server's fault as two vehicles ahead of us had left just before getting to the checkout window. So I went inside with our receipt and proceeded to experience one of the worst customer service experiences I have witnessed. I got in and there was one customer that had been waiting for his order for an hour and a half, an order of simply two burgers. Another could see half his order sitting on a counter with "a mountain" of food unbagged as he put it. This gentlemen had to ask for his order three times before it was finally bagged and handed to him missing the fries that they claimed they were waiting on.
After waiting for about 20 minutes I finally received my original order, the only thing we were given correctly initially were our drinks. By this time my fiance and I had already been there almost an hour ourselves simply trying to get the food we ordered. After getting home to finally eat, we lost our appetite after finding several hairs all over her two cheeseburgers she ordered and the fries were all overcooked. Needless to say, we ended up throwing away all the food we ordered and went to sleep for the night hungry because we wasted more than enough time waiting for food we ordered only to find someone's hair all over it and overcooked fries.
After this atrocious customer service experience I cannot say I will ever be back to this location again and will NOT be recommending it to anyone, not unless they want overdone food and...
Read moreIf I could give less I would, I’ve worked enough kitchen service to know this job is not that hard and if you think it is you’re lazy. You’re paid to at least pretend you’re having a good day and have the “customer service voice” but apparently everyone working the window is convinced they have it the hardest. There is no reason to give any customer attitude when they order, let alone the fact that in 4 years living in Tiffin I have yet to get an order that was right the first time. I just ordered nuggets, a small fry, a McChicken and a Dr. Pepper and was given 3 sandwiches, zero fries and a Hi-C. All the sandwiches cold and I have an 5 minute drive home. Again this is not a hard job and if you think it is find a construction site and open your eyes a bit. Whoever worked window on 3rd shift January 12 needs a serious attitude adjustment or promoted to customer because clearly customer service isn’t her deal. I’ve worked in multiple customer service jobs and not one time did I have reason to give a customer a bad attitude whether I had a bad day or not. Professionalism clearly is not a standard anymore. Read moreProbably will be my last stop at McDonald's, at least the one in Tiffin. This stop was about noon on the Saturday of the Halloween parade. Cars were backed up all the way out to the street for the drive-thrus. I should have taken that as a hint, but I parked and went in to place my order. I ordered and paid at one of the kiosks. After a couple minutes it became obvious nobody waiting was getting any food. The staff, when they appeared, were obviously in panic mode. People waiting were upset. After about 20 minutes I asked another customer how long they had been waiting, she answered an hour. AN HOUR. A few others said the same. Plus when people did start getting their orders, the order was either messed up or incomplete. I left. McDonald's is not worth an hour wait. I understand they were slammed because of the parade, but what manager does not anticipate something like that and schedule adequate staff to handle the business. To make matters worse, they have redesigned and remodeled the pickup area for inside orders. They have created probably the most customer unfriendly inside atmosphere I have ever seen.
