An employee took my order for a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit at the drive through monitor this morning around 9:30. When I finally got to the window, she asked me if I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit- which was wrong so I corrected her. She then asked me what else I ordered, so I’m not sure what the point of ordering at the monitor was since she hadn’t actually put anything into their system. I got my food and drove off, noting to my wife that it smelled heavily of bacon. The sandwich did have a (burnt) sausage patty on it, but it had tiny bits of bacon all over it as well. I know that human nature is rooted in laziness, but when I’m paying you for a sausage biscuit - don’t just rip the bacon off of it when you’ve made a mistake and replace it with burnt sausage because it will STILL TASTE LIKE BACON. Bacon grease cannot be removed from a biscuit, and when the sausage has been annihilated and cooked to its literal, darkest death, chances are the flavor is all gone, too. I ended up having to throw the little frankenstein away after a few bites because it was so repulsive. I’m not sure what’s happening at this location, but I ordered the same sandwich last month and it was so salty it practically burned my mouth after a few bites and I had to toss that one as well. I’m giving this location no more chances to take my money and give me garbage. I’ve managed full-service restaurants for decades; fast food is the easiest level of food service imaginable and I fail to understand why my sporadic morning visits to this one location always end up the exact same way. You’re just...
Read moreJust had a very strange experience at this store. I had ordered two famous stars with cheese which are part of the current b1g1 for $1 promotion. I was charged full price at the drive thru window. I then asked the employee at the window about the promotion and he told me "I don't know, that must have been a limited time and isn't going on anymore, that's why it was full price". Upon pulling out of the drive thru I noticed the promotion on a poster in the front window of the store. So I parked and took my receipt inside. When inside I asked the employee at the front why I was charged full price even though the window poster clearly stated the promotion. I was told "how do I know you want to do the promotion?" Utterly dumfounded I responded "why would I choose to pay an extra $6 for the same two items, who chooses to pay more money?" she just shrugged. Again I was flummoxed and asked for a $6 refund. She was confused and after talking a little more agreed to refund both burgers and recharge me, then proceeded to give me 98 cents in dimes and pennies (no big deal, dimes spend as well). Overall terrible customer service, from the guy in the drive thru who tried to make me believe the promotion was over, to the girl who tried to convince me it was my fault and there was nothing she could do. When I worked in customer service (including fast food and Carl's Jr) in the past it was standard practice to automatically apply applicable promotions and this just seems as if they were trying to hustle me. Left with a very terrible taste in my mouth from the experience, not the burger, the...
Read moreOne star because the food is decent, but customer service is bad. As I was paying I told the guy that I would like ketchup and he said ok. He hands me my order and shuts the window. I wait to ask for ketchup since I didn’t get any and my drinks were still missing. they never came back to the window, no problem, I’ll park and get them inside. I get home(I don’t live far) and realize one of my burgers was missing so I go back trying not to go Karen and politely show them my receipt and let them know that I didn’t receive it. He looks for the hamburger (that they probably had added to someone else’s order after me) and then asked the other guy if he’s seen it. He asked to see the bag as if I were lying. I said I tore it when I got home and I wouldn’t drive home and back just to lie about a burger. He continues to say “well for future reference bring the bag in”. If I wanted to lie I would’ve left the burger in my car and showed them the rest of the food in the bag. When I was manager and someone’s order was messed up, I’d sincerely apologize and fix the order immediately. Sometimes even add some small fries when we’d miss something. I didn’t even get the apology for my...
