Gators Pub & Eatery — Restaurant in Tigard

We normally love this place but the last time we went in we were COMPLETELY ignored maybe 3 people at the bar (bar tender was running back and fourth to kitchen, so I guess he was busy) The girl had 2 tables on the floor and no one outside she watched us walk in, went and made small talk with the one other table already eating asked the other table if they were good then walked right by us and began making small talk with the bartender. By now we have already gotten our own menus. She walked by us two more times made some more small talk with one of the two other tables again and walked right by us back to the bar. We were like what the... Finally my husband said what does it take to get a beer. They looked at us and said oh, no one took your order 🤷🏾‍♀️. Really! I mean they both watched us walk in and sit down we even exchange hello how are yous. So even though this was months ago, I am craving their wings and brussel sprouts but the hubby refuses to go...

Found myself in a pub for breakfast. First time for everything. I ordered French toast with some country potatoes on the side. Everything was good. The sausage is really fat, pretty tasty. My friend got biscuits and gravy and he said it had a little kick. The music playing was familiar and kinda "old school" as some may say at a reasonable level, Phil Collins and the like. We only drank water since we had coffee beforehand. Comfortable atmosphere and very relaxed. I observed some people working on their laptops and on the phone so I assume WiFi is available. I was having my tires rotated and replaced across the street so this was very convenient. Our server was very sweet and had cool jewelry that I appreciated. First time trying food dining in. We usually just head to the bar for beers and take our wings to go. But this time we stopped in for lunch. Chris always delivers exceptional service even when he’s clearly slammed with orders. Food was pretty good. I got the fish and onion rings instead of fries. Fish was fried crispy and orings were huge. Both were a little too greasy. I honestly wouldn’t order that again but i enjoyed it for the most part. Hubby got the Reuben and fries. I tasted it and it was a great Reuben. Service was slower then when we sit at the bar but business was steady so i understand. I’ve seen most of the bartenders and you can tell they care when they make a drink. Their restrooms are always kept very clean and music playing was tasteful. Lots of parking available.
