La Real Taqueria Food Cart — Restaurant in Tigard

I ordered catering from La Real Taqueria for my dad's 58th! Erick, was quick to respond to my calls and/or emails. He sent me the catering menu which I felt it had all I needed. I got 1 Taco platter, 3 QuesaTaco platters, 1 Chicken Quesadilla platter for the kids, 1 large rice and beans, and a gallon of horchata for a party of 25 people (more than enough!).

My dad and family loved the food and trust me, these Mexicans are not an easy crowd to please. Can't fool us with franchised Mexican food, like Muchas Gracias. But no joke everyone kept repeating how good the QuesaTacos are.

The day of the event Erick shows up with minutes to spare to deliver my order. Side note: My sister thought I ordered strippers lol (my dad thought it was hilarious comment). Erick and his staff are handsome young men pulling up in an unmarked truck. We imagined a "la real taqueria" to identify the delivery vehicle. But it gave all of us a good laugh.

I wish my oder came with plastic ware, napkins, paper plates, and individual containers for the consume like other catering services...

I don't even know where to begin. If I could give La Real ten out of five stars, I would. I tell everyone I know about this joint.

I went here on a whim because after having moved into the neighborhood from San Francisco, I was looking for a local source for Mission style burritos. Their al pastor had me hooked right away and we've been going on a weekly basis ever since.

La Real was also my introduction to birria quesatacos way before I ever heard about them through social media. I typically get one with every visit. The consume they include for dipping the quesatacos is incredible.

They recently started offering suadero as a meat option which completely changed the game for me. Chosing that or the al pastor for my burritos is always a coin flip. I had never tried it anywhere else before they started offering it, but I can't imagine there's anyone in town who does it better.

Just do yourself a favor. Go here NOW. Get a super burrito with any of their delicious meats. You won't be disappointed. Be sure to get a quesataco while...

Placed a last minute order 1 hour before they close and you won't be disappointed. I was hungry for a burrito and opted for a shredded beef burrito with other fillings they had left. 5 Stars. Fantastic! I received two burritos with well seasoned shredded beef and other high quality fillings alongside small cups of fresh (I think ancho) red and green tomatillo salsa. I took a bite out of the burrito and poured the red chile on top and it was FANTASTIC. I will place another order at this food cart very soon. The prices are reasonable and the quality is top notch!!

January 30, 2021. Today I ordered the Suadero brisket special burrito and it was AMAZING. It was packed to the brim with tasty meat and rice (more meat than rice) and the tortilla it was wrapped in was fresh and still warm as well. Absolutely delicious and this for $9 a piece! - Thank you :)))

-February 2/9/21 - another order of their Express Burrito with brisket inside. AMAZING! Folks, this is the real deal. So much flavor....
