Diana’s Morning Brew — Restaurant in Tilton

My wife and I went in for breakfast today and right from the get go, it was a bad vibe. None of the employees even bothered to look at us. They just told us "sit where you want". From there, it got worse. Our server couldn't have been less interested in being there and it was very evident in her attitude. After we got our drinks, we ordered food. What we ordered, if it was made to order, should have taken no more than 10 minutes. We watched as people who came in after us got their food (more than we ordered, just for the record) and finally, 35 minutes later, our food came out. By the way, our server never bothered to ask if we wanted refills even though are drinks were visibly empty. She also never bothered to check if everything was OK. She asked how it was AFTER we were done eating. She had no problem bringing us our bill promptly after serving our food. When we paid and she brought the receipt to sign, her exact words were "this is your copy and this one is mine and I need you to sign it". Usually, servers will say "whenever you're ready" or "is there something else I can get you". Apparently, that level of service doesn't exist here which is too bad because the food was excellent. Anybody who believes that bad service doesn't ruin a meal are settling to be treated as if they're invisible. The place was steady but not crazy busy. Let’s talk about why you should just avoid this place all around. First off when you walk in, nobody acknowledges you. You will stand there 15 minutes before anyone says anything to you, meanwhile all the servers pass you and look at you. Once you sit down, the tables are so close together you don’t even have enough elbow room or room to scoot your chair back. Second off. We waited another 25 minutes before anyone asked us what we would like to DRINK, not food. I asked for coffee as we started our order and our waitress ran away to grab coffee while we were trying to tell her what we wanted to eat. Then the excuse was, “The phone is ringing off the hook, I’m busy.” The phone didn’t ring once while we were thing, that’s just poor service. Third, no refills on the drinks. Next we tried to ask for our food because at 50 mins in we were hungry watching as people who came in AFTER us got their food. The excuse we got was “The food is homemade.” Thats a poor answer. The waitress proceeded to slap the check on our table and say, “So you don’t have to wait again.”

Everyone has bad days, do not take it out on the customers by lying and showing horrible service. The food was unseasoned and not worth waiting for it to be barely hot. I do not recommend this place, you are better off getting a decent meal at McDonald’s for...

Went on aThursday wasnt busy, took 40 minutes to get eggs Benedict, although I saw three cooks in the back. Food was very good I cant deny that. When I went to pay my bill my $13.95 eggs Benedict(that was the price on the menu) was $16.95. And there was a $1 surcharge for eggs???? And my friends check didn't have a $1 surcharge although he got eggs lol!!!! Well I wasnt about to let it slide especially after an 1hr and a half experience at this point. The waitress said the new menus weren't updated and that was the new price.....I told her that was the resturants problem not mine I want the price it was listed on the menu.
