I was surprised to see a Vietnamese establishment in Tilton, NH but knew I had to try out their Banh Mi (Vietnamese sub). Whether you have had Vietnamese food before or not, make it a point to check this place out. They are doing an amazing job of sharing their culture and passion for food with locals and visitors alike.
If you've never had a banh mi before, it's a Baguette filled with marinated meats or Vietnamese pork cold cuts, pickled carrots and daikon, Cilantro, mayo, and pate. Do yourself a favor and get one of each to try them. Add Thai chilies if you're looking to really spice it up (not for the faint of heart).
Pho is the quintessential Vietnamese dish that is a hearty bone broth soup with different cuts of beef or chicken. If you're sick, have a hangover, or are just plain hungry, get this dish.
Looking for something lighter? Get the fresh spring rolls (veggies and rice noodles with your protein of choice) or bun (vermicelli rice noodle salad).
They also serve smoothies and Vietnamese coffee (strong coffee sweetened with sweetened condensed milk).
I spoke to the owners and they are passionate people who want to introduce Vietnamese food to more people. Give them a chance and check them out if you're in the area (but are also very much worth...
Read moreI love V's! The food is always spectacular! The owners, Rose and Sonny, are very friendly and helpful and really appreciate their customers. Sonny might even sing a little song to you as he hands you your order ♡. There are tofu options for the banh mi, the pho, and the fresh rolls, and all of these are very delicious and filling. I actually work in close proximity to the shop, and regularly smelling the fantastic food being prepared at V's is almost too much to handle. It's a miracle I don't cave to my baser instincts and eat there every day. There are tons of boba drink options on the menu to try, and the ones I've had are excellent and fun to sip. There are both regular tapioca and popping boba options. The shop is closed on Sundays and Wednesdays. Keep in mind it is a small shop with one small table, so it's best to order ahead and take out. I'm so glad to have their food in my area as it can be tough in a small town to find vegan/vegetarian...
Read moreI must express my utmost admiration for the exceptional Vietnamese cuisine offered at Vs. The authenticity and freshness of their dishes are truly remarkable, and I have consistently enjoyed every meal I have had there. Their Pho, Ramen, and Banh Mi sandwiches are particularly noteworthy, showcasing the diverse flavors and textures of Vietnamese cuisine. The use of high-quality ingredients, such as beef, pork, and chicken, ensures that each dish is a culinary delight. The Boba drinks are also highly recommended, providing a refreshing and flavorful complement to the savory dishes. The establishment's smaller size belies the immense depth of flavor and the excellent service they provide. The family-run business exudes warmth and hospitality, treating every customer with utmost respect and attention. I highly recommend Vs to anyone in the area or planning to visit. It is undoubtedly one of the finest Vietnamese restaurants...
