I’ve been looking forward to visiting the new Costas location, after hearing mixed reviews from friends, I wanted to see for myself. The bones are much the same of the old Nick’s with some nice improvements, namely the management which seems to have a direct effect on everything else. I would never say Nicks was dirty, their downtown location is one of my regular stops with family, but the place is noticeably clean. I liked the staff at Nicks but the new staff seems a little more focused on a great customer experience, especially the man who in charge who was cordial to everyone I saw during my brief visit, beyond cordial, he took an interest and clearly has experience in creating a great customer experience. If I didn’t know any better, he could be the owner and since I don’t know the owner, he might be. From the staff to the customers, he expressed an interest and a genuine concern for the place and its people, refreshing in 2025. I ate a crab cake which was very good. As a crab cake enthusiast, it’s not the best I ever had but I’d give it a top ten seat. You still have the betting and keno but it somehow feels cleaner and more orderly. It’s a place I’d probably bring my kids to, without worrying if I’d have to explain away some obscene thing, it’s somehow just nicer than before. Also nice that they have regular hours and don’t close early or shut down for a private event like the old staff regularly did, or at least I hope they won’t start doing that. I’d recommend this place to all Maryland people who like a great experience, good crab cakes, and a near historic location. Six stars outta 5. 👏 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Costas Inn Timonium is finally open! They absolutely brought that Dundalk love and family feel to the fairgrounds. The inside is modern, spacious and well laid out. TVs surround the walls offering a true 360 view so you never miss a moment, whether it's football or horse racing. The staff as always, are welcoming and friendly. The bar is immaculate, with ample seating, and they have a great selection of beers on tap, and the liquor is prominently displayed in the center of the bar. The food did not disappoint!! The refined menu highlights all of their classic hits, and it's still made with love. If you're in the area or even if you're not, come down, have a drink and experience the Costas Inn effect!

Costas Inn has opened a new location in Timonium at the racetrack grandstands. Their crab cakes are some of the best around, prices are reasonable and they have a great bar. Parking is free and it is right off of 83 North and Timonium Road. This place is going to be a grand slam when people find out about it... No need to drive 45 minutes from North Baltimore to Dundalk! Best foods: Half and half crab soup The crab cakes! Shrimp salad sandwich They also have tons of televisions for watching the Orioles and Ravens.

What a great meal! We made our way to this new location of Costas Inn for a Sunday evening dinner. Though we had made reservations, we didn't need them as there were many available tables when we arrived. Landon was our server, and she was excellent. We ordered water, and as soon as it arrived, we placed our order. We each had crab soup, and both the size of the cup and bowl were bigger than those at other restaurants. The soup was tasty with lots of vegetables and lump crab meat. I ordered the soft shell crab platter with fries and apple sauce. The others in my party had crab cakes, and they looked and tasted very good. My soft-shell crabs were big and meaty, with a light coating. I opted to take my fries home so that I could get the rice pudding for dessert, and it was terrific. The rice was just the right consistency and very creamy. The meal was terrific, and the location was nice, relatively close to home. I'm looking forward to returning here soon, and I highly recommend visiting for excellent food...

Yummm I gave them 4 stars because I really enjoyed my crab cake and it was a refreshing switch up from my usual crabcake spot. But the star of the show for me was the salad that came with the crabcake egg rolls. Im pretty sure it was the Greek salad. It was so fresh and it was unexpected! I never would have ordered it because I’m a salad snob and the ingredients should be really fresh. And I was happily crunching away lol. So that’s going to be a reoccurring order for me! Not the crab cake egg rolls though because they were not my speed! Just the Greek salad and a crab cake. I also had the apple pie which was good And the sundae which could’ve been amazing but the ice cream isn’t my favorite. The hot fudge and nuts had a really yummy almost cinnamon like flavor.

I did a large take out order but the service was great the entire transaction. I’m glad I tried it and I’m glad...
