There is nothing about this pastrami sandwich that I ordered. I should have walked away when I asked if they hard relish and the reply was a quizical look of bewilderment as though i had grown horns and began speaking in tongues. So I asked for pickels. We discussed one the sandwich or off. Agreeing on "on" the sandwich to which they are wholly missing upon reciept of said sandwich.
And it is possible that Publix and delis have ruined my expectations around subs and specifically pastrami sandwiches. I guess it's in how I just described the pastrami...as a sandwich. Cause what I got was a mayonnaise laced 8" waste of such a meager amount of actual pastrami that now, that i write this out, I'm not even sure it qualifies as pastrami sub. As its constituent parts make it more of a lettuce and mayonnaise sub... with a smearing of pastrami as a condiment?
So yeah. I was expecting a pastrami sandwich. What is got was a wet cardboard lettuce and mayonnaise "8 sub, with such a meager amount of pastrami on it it may infact qualify as vegan.
It's been a decade sense I've been in a Fire Hiuse sub. I think I'm good until 2040 now.

Read moreI have never been disrespected by a restaurant worker like I was tonight. I am an Uber Driver and came here to pick up a delivery order. To preface, I don't have control over when I receive offers. I arrived at Firehouse Subs and the door was unlocked, so I went to walk in. I didn't even get the chance to step in when a worker informed me "we closed 6 minutes ago, dog" and asked if I had already paid. I explained to her that it was an Uber order. She asked "well why are you 6 minutes late then?" I replied saying that I had just received the order and asked calmly if I could still pick up the order. A simple yes or no question so one might think. She then said "are you gonna tip me?" At this point, I was beyond angry with the unnecessary confrontational attitude and disrespect. Had she just said "sorry we're closed", that could have been that. I will not be returning here for future deliveries nor for my own patronage as I do not find being talked down to and disrespected conducive to a good experience...
Read moreI ordered delivery through Ubereats. Timeframe was fine. I did not expect the food to be piping hot when it got here. The steak in the cheesesteak sub tasted as though it had been cooked, then refrigerated and then put on the sub. Like actively cold. Not room temperature or cooled down due to the timeframe of delivery. It is literally colder than room temperature.
Additionally the subs look like the person who made them was angry about it. Haphazardly and poorly placed ingredients making everything look unappetizing. It is clear that no care or effort was put into actually making the food.
The uber eats driver was nice. All in all was a waste of money.
They responded to my review here but nothing came of it. I asked to recieve a refund via their online portal given that I still had the food (uneaten) at the time. There was no response when that was requested.
