Crab Rangoon and chicken fried rice. Little town where we took a driving test and we ordered a little snack. A delicious Chinese restaurant in a small town!! It made me want to go back just to eat dinner. Pleasantly surprised. If I lived here, it would be my “go to” Chinese place and I would be so happy that this Chinese restaurant is here! It’s like a hidden gem I would say! I want to go back and eat dinner and I honestly think I might actually do that in the next 3 months! It’s a 30 minute drive from where I live in Indianapolis, but now I’m curious. The thing is…it’s not a place you would sit down and eat dinner. It’s pretty much carry out dinner and maybe sit down by yourself or maybe one friend and eat lunch. I will come back and get a bunch of things to try because it had so much promise and I was interested in what else they had to offer. Cool restaurant hidden in a small town....

Great food at average prices. This restaurant is in the next town west of my residence and I drive past 2 local Chinese restaurants to get my food from here. Currently they only have carry out and they do not take debit or credit. Cash or check only.

4/24/25: As you can see above my previous review is being edited because of my current disappointed visit. I ordered carry-out sweet & sour chicken, but when I got home I opened the bag to find no sweet/sour sauce. Kind of difficult to have this dish without the sauce. Both my wife and my pork fried rice was bland tasting, but the rest of our meal was extremely good. The chicken lo-mein, won-ton soup and egg rolls were great. So to have to write anything negative is a big disappointment as we have been eating here for years. I certainly hope that this is just a fluke and everything will go back to the way we have...

Ordered take out from here last night for the first time. Don't get me wrong, the food was good I would have given it 4 stars (it didn't stand out that much from other similar restaurants)

The reason I gave 3 stars is the fact that they are cash only. I mean, get with the times. It was not explained when ordering and since they don't have a website there is no clear way of knowing until you walk up to the door.

Operating a cash only business could mean they are either too cheap to pay for a credit card service or cheating on taxes. Either way it makes me wonder where else they might be cutting corners on food production and ingredients.

We probably won't be back as we are not people who keep cash readily available and don't want to have to make two stops everytime...
