The Mad Tap — Restaurant in Tipton

Found a Gem! I recently visited The Mad Tap in historic downtown Tipton Indiana and what an experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable set of identical twins who took our order. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to get started.

Shortly after, the owner, Mindy, came in, bringing an amazing energy to the room. She took the time to explain everything, staying with us and introducing us to some of the most unique and flavorful combinations I’ve ever tried. I’m not usually one for ales or beers, but these were absolutely delicious. The best part? They offered small sample sizes so I could enjoy a range of flavors without overdoing it.

For food, we had a recommendation to try the brisket with a side of spicy mango barbecue sauce, and it was mouthwateringly delicious. The creativity and attention to detail in every aspect made the experience truly memorable.

You get food that you can't find anywhere else around town. WOW. Contrary to popular belief, I like that you kinda order yourself and there isn't a huge waitress staff because I'm just here to enjoy good food and good drinks, which is what you get, without being interrupted every five minutes to be asked, "Is everything ok?" Try the beers! The beer wall is GENIUS!! Highly highly recommend. The seating area is small however which makes it a little more personal but nothing negative....

Not worth the prices for the food. You barely get anything. As for the kids menu there is nothing there for them to eat. You walk in seat yourself, then look at the menu get up and go order you get a plastic cup for drinks which you get yourself. Actually you do everything yourself but cook your food. Also becareful make sure you have your receipt check your bank account they will charge you 20 % tip. Very shocked they ask for a tip when they do...
