The Green House — Restaurant in Tipton

We used The Green House as our bar vendor for our wedding in September 2024. We did not have a pleasant experience. My mother paid them a pretty penny to say the least for their services. The plan we got included 2 free drinks for each guest, after that they had to pay themselves. My family and I counted out specifically 200 tickets and passed 2 out to everyone for their free drinks. There were many people that did not drink so they did give their tickets away to people that would use them. (This shouldn’t be a problem considering my mother already paid them for the 200 tickets ahead of time). Later on in the night the bartender (a man) started questioning people and how they got more than two tickets and then refused to serve them unless they paid cash/card. Guests tried to explain to them that they were given tickets that others were not using as they weren’t drinking alcohol. My mom even offered to count the tickets behind the bar with the bartender and he beat around the bush and said he would do it himself. Which he obviously never did or he would have known there were not more than 200 tickets used. Come to find out after my wedding from multiple guests they were selling beer that had been expired for over a year…. I would not recommend using The Green House as a bar vendor for...

My Young Beautiful Bride and I visited Tipton for an estate sale and afterwards we went to the Green House for lunch.

Unknown to us, the restaurant was actually located in an actual Green House.

The atmosphere was OK, but nothing to brag about. There seemed to be only 2 employees, and this made everything move very slowly.

It took 46 minutes to receive our drinks and another 12 minutes to receive our food.

The meals were quite delicious and filling 😋, it was just the long wait that we didn't like.

I suppose if you weren't in a hurry and wanted to take your time and visit with your family, this would be the perfect...

I'm the manager at Best One of Tipton , and I provide a nice lunch every year right before Christmas. I wanted to stay local and have a very traditional holiday meal.
