Edited Grumbley's was great! I won't lie, when I saw another pizza place opening up in Titusville I thought to myself "what were they thinking 🤦♂️" as we definitely have our fair share of already established pizzerias. Regardless, I wanted to give them a try and see if they brought anything different to the table as most pizzerias in Titusville are very similar to one another. Thankfully, Grumbley's does more than just cut their pizza differently.
The pizza has a thinner, crispy crust and is loaded with quality cheese and toppings. Sauce is good too. Probably my favorite crust of any pizza in Titusville. Really good and the entire family enjoyed it. One pizza fed two adults and three kids, with some slices left over. The cheesy breadsticks were also great, best in town. Once again super crispy and quality.
On top of the good pizza, the employees were all great as well. From the guy who took my order over the phone, the cashier, and the waitress, everyone was on point and polite.
Edit I initially included a critique regarding the bits on the bottom of our pizza and breadsticks but having read the owner's reply, it seems that it's a product of how they achieve that super crispy delicious crust. That's a fair trade off because as I said above, their crispy crust is probably the best in town. I also want to add that I'm even more impressed with how the owner responded and how quickly he did so. That's the kind of owner that deserves all the success in the world. Thanks for the reply and our family will be back soon!
That aside, highly recommend anyone reading this go out and try our new pizzeria. Good people and great food, one of my new favorite pizza spots in...
Read moreThe food here is fantastic... when you can catch them actually open and serving food. This is a busy area with a healthy competition fighting for your customers and you are hardly ever open or available to take orders during the peak pizza ordering times!?! What pizza joint is closed on a Saturday?? I get Sunday (day of rest and all that), but 8pm on days you do open and closed on Saturdays?? That tells me (and your competitors) that during the busiest times of the pizza rush in PSJ, you ain’t interested in our business. We order pizza once a week. The last six weeks, our business has gone to your competitors 4 times out of the six simply because you were closed. Soon the hype about your establishment will fizzle and if you continue to keep your doors closed during the busiest pizza hours of the week, you’re going to find yourself having trouble paying the bills. Really a shame because your pizza is very good and we have thoroughly enjoyed the TWO orders we’ve been able to place since we heard about you opening in our little town. But you gotta extend your hours past 8pm (pizza is a late evening/night/what-are-we-going-to-eat-tonight?-lets-order-pizza! kinda meal) Seriously guys, even Chic Fil A is open on Saturday’s!! Don’t be the next out-of-business business...
Read moreI can't say enough with how impressed I was with the quality of the food, exceptional service, and overall experience. We had a mix-up at work with ordering our lunch for the next day. I called the shop and asked if they could accommodate us for 10 large pizzas for pick up the next morning. They had no issues and were happy to help. Everyone enjoyed the pizza, and we will definitely have Dawghouse on our regular rotation at work. And definitely be picking up some for family on the way home very soon.
Favorite pizzas so far, the Hawaiian was top for me, followed by the windy city and the Quatro. Can't go wrong with a classic like pepperoni, either. My coworkers enjoyed the Buffalo chicken and the Walter white. Pizzas were hot and fresh, and the crust was absolutely amazing! We were all so excited to eat I didn't get a picture to share, but I will try the next time I order ( unless I'm too excited again)
I'm looking forward to another order and trying out more flavor combinations!
Thanks to the team that made our lunch happen and to the owner for finally serving the county with the best pizza...
