Giving 1 star because I have to give something in order to write a review. We were in town, as we are every year, for a gymnastics event. We didn't want to hit Perkins for our meal because we wanted to try something different. Google maps brought us to Missy's and since the reviews were good we thought "let's do it." 1st - decor left much to be desired. Though the nostalgic imagry was interesting there was way too much going on. Place felt dirty simply because there was too much sitting around to collect dust. 2nd - folks that sat AFTER us were served BEFORE we were. 3rd - waited almost 20 minutes just for a menu, waitress kept eyeballing us and even cleaned an empty table TWICE before offering us drinks. 4th - I ordered a wrap, specifically asked if it came with dressing, was told yes and wrap came without dressing, the worst part of this was that the waitress never came back to ask if everything was OK until after I got tired of waiting for mayonnaise so just used the ranch I had for my fries. She still brought me mayonnaise after I told her I no longer needed it. Now, I understand that when a place is busy things can be hectic, BUT, (it's a tiny place that seats perhaps 50) there were 2 waitresses, though the other one seemed to only care about 2 particular tables, and over half of the other patrons had already been served and were eating. Oh, and the food was absolutely tasteless. However the pie was very good. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this establishment as we felt purposely ignored and...
Read moreBreakfast and service has always been top notch. I will still return here and I do recommend coming here.I needed to take a bigger breath before my review as it doesn’t reflect a typical visit.
Ate breakfast here 10/11/21 approx 1030am. Usually very good service. The younger woman waiting tables should be fired!!! Came over to wipe our table, never said hello, completely ignoring the fact we were sitting there & talking over our heads to Mike, a guy sitting a table behind us! Said she would get menus, that took a few minutes. Took a few more to walk back over with drinks; it wasn’t ‘busy’ at the moment. She brought our food, it was good but completely ignored a couple small requests. Husbands bacon came on my plate, said ‘I’ll bring a small plate over for that”, NEVER DID. Watched her mill about doing what, don’t know. Talking to the regulars. He asked for bagel with cream cheese, cheese is usually on the side in a cup, this came smothered in butter, no cream cheese. I asked for dry wheat toast, came smothered in butter. Never brought our check when we said we were done. While standing at bar waiting for it she flops our check down (hard, sloppily & rudely) in front of us & walks away making no eye...
Read moreI’ll start off by saying the service was nice. The waitress was attentive and very friendly. But the food I had was very poor. I ordered the “Taco Wrap” which came with a small handful of fries. The fries were tastier than the wrap. The wrap was a cold tortilla with the fillings “taco meat”, cheese, tomato, lettuce and came with a side of sour cream and bland salsa. For $9 I guess I just expected a more full wrap. The cheese was either completely hidden or just hardly there. Two small slices of tomato, some lettuce, and what seemed to be chili cheese dog meat as the “taco” meat. It tasted just like chili cheese dog. Nothing about it was taco-like. And let me tell you…I was in the bathroom on and off all day following my visit. Might come back someday to try breakfast but definitely would not recommend...
