The last weekend of June 2022 I was honored to be the matron of honor at my special friends’ small wedding at Toccoa Falls. As a part of my responsibilities I cleared the reception patio including gifts and the cakes. I was beyond surprised to discover absolutely no cake box of any kind, for the top the bride specifically requested to keep or any left over, for the bride and grooms cakes. The amount of stress this caused for the bride and groom, not to mention me in over 90F, was unfortunate. A wedding day is about the couple and their happiness.

If you choose to use Magic Oven for your reception, it is my suggestion that even if you clarify every possible detail ahead of time, be overly prepared to take any foods away in your own containers.

This review is long overdue. I initially contacted Magic Oven to make my wedding cake. Communication was great and I decided to see if they could make a birthday cake and cupcakes as well. They did and everyone loved it! Come the wedding day, though I never saw her she was prompt and our cake was beautiful and delicious, only a few slices left.
