Had a wonderful family Luncheon at Little Asia to celebrate daughter's long awaited confirmation party. The food was so authentic. I haven't had food like this since living in Philly, LA, and San Francisco. This place was recently taken over by a new owner. She has a chef that was trained in China especially in Szechuan cuisine. We started off with boiled pork n chive dumplings, steam bun w stuffed w meat, mouth watering tender chicken to Szechuan thinly sliced beef shanks as appetizers and moved on to hand pulled noodles in tender beef brisket, midly spicey cold szechuan noodles, soy sauce chicken, szechuan boiled fish platter, XinJiang big plate chicken and spicy seafood compo dry pot. No other Chinese restaurant around Toledo and it's suburb serves up authentic dishes like this. This is a hidden gem of a place to us in Toledo. Now I don't have to fly 2500 miles to eat this kind of food.

This is a family owned place. The owner is passionate about his work. He was proud to tell me that their chef cooked in China, then in the US, for a total of 37 years. I could tell right from the first bite. Order from the "authentic Chinese" part of the menu. It's on the left, inner fold of the menu. We ordered Spicy Angry Chicken and something seafood. It was served with white rice and in large, family sized bowls. The spice level was comfortable. I love spice, and regularly eat habanero or jalapeno on my home-cooking. I'd say the base heat level of "hot" here is 2 out of 5. But the flavor is 5 out of 5. It's cheap. You get a large portion. I'm stuffed. I had to take some home. Please do yourself a favor and stop in. Don't focus on the plastic cups or the little imperfections. This family is working hard and delivering true, authentic cuisine. I'll be coming back many times.

I’ll be honest, I was a little skeptical about ordering from this place based on the name alone, but I quickly learned not to judge a book by its cover. We’ve had some good Chinese food in Toledo, but Little Asia has quickly become one of our favorites. The food is consistent, portions are extremely generous, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other spots. Even with delivery all the way to Perrysburg, the food always arrives piping hot. I also really appreciate that the dishes aren’t overly greasy or drowning in sauce.. you can actually taste the flavors. So far, I haven’t had a dish I didn’t like, and the Mei Fun is easily the best I’ve had in a long time. We haven’t dined in yet, but the restaurant itself looks super cute. Definitely a hidden gem that deserves more attention!

I am an experienced fan of pho so I know what I like and dislike in my bowl. I met a group of friends at Little Asia after a cold day outside and decided to "go wild" with my meal. For the first time in my life, I ordered a vegan meal - this was both a test of the restaurant and an attempt to eat more healthily. The place was busy; but oddly serene, not loud and banging; the service was great - but don't expect any phony corporate smiles; if you get a smile - it is genuine. These dudes are serious about the bowls. I ordered vegan as a test of the broth. I already thought I knew what to expect in the rest; but was pleasantly surprised by these key aspects of my Little Asia bowl of vegan pho:

  1. Broth - rich and layered flavors; not a bowl of salted, msg'ed water; it is delicious.
  2. The rice noodles were somehow especially light and clean on my pallet. I have had pho noodles that taste starchy and heavy; these were perfect - I had to instantly sharpen my chopstick skills in order to sculpt my perfect spoonful.
  3. Just enough, and tucked neatly in a nook waiting to be incorporated into the canvas of my bite were these perfectly sized bits of fried tofu - small so they fit with the other delights carefully being place onto my spoon (the spoon has a little hook thingy so as to stabilize making it convenient to individualize each specific bite; thoughtful). These tofu bits were perfectly fried, not too crisp on the outside; but melted and ready to gush flavor when bitten on the inside; and served in a size that I did not have to cut or fuss with in any way - I just added one to my masterpiece of a spoonful. This flavor sensation was a most pleasant surprise and I recommend that even seasoned/snotty pho fans go and try. It surprised me.
  4. The Whole Bowl - al dente' tofu!, noodles, carrots, and all the rest. I did my "good food happy dance". I was nearly halfway through my meal before I realized that I had not added any sauces to my bowl - it was that interesting on it's own merit. My only critique is that the front windows...

Joined my partner and parents for dinner two nights ago! First off, the restaurant is very clean and bright, the decor is sleek and minimal, very pleasant. The folks working were very kind and cheerful. Lots of carry out orders, not a lot of dine in but it’s definitely a place to try! Parents had hot and sour soup, GIANT bowls, lots of veggies and they were happy with the taste. Delicious egg rolls, a bit more garlic than normal egg rolls which made them an A+ in my book. They don’t offer fountain sodas which may be frustrating for some people but I drink water and they HAVE sodas, in both cans and bottles. In fact, they kindly offered us a few free cans of soda, as well as a nice little baggie of fortune cookies to go. Very very sweet thoughtful gestures. The food was good. Fresh tasting and portions large enough to get two big meals. The prices were extremely reasonable. I believe it’s a family running the place and there were two little kids who were so adorable hanging out, gave the place a very warm, welcoming family friendly vibe. I hope people give this place a chance, you wont regret it! They definitely seem like they’re very serious about keeping customers happy. Attentive without hovering. I know the family and I will go back, we heard about it from a few friends who highly recommended it and now we will pass the word along as well. Thanks again! Had a...

Tonight (9/5/20) my husband and I were driving down dorr and noticed little Asia. We decided to stop and order and try the food. When I ordered the lady on the phone who took my order was so nice! When my husband came out he came out with a smile! They were really friendly! Now to the food! Oh my goodness the food is just amazing and phenomenal! The price was alittle higher than what we pay but we are totally ok with that!!!! With the portion size and the taste you can't beat and the phenomenal awesomeness!!! We are beyond satisfied customers! We will definitely be returning! Little Asia is #1 on our charts!

So a few wks ago (Dec 2020) it was about 8:15pm. We called in to place our normal orders (general torso chicken and general torso shrimp) well the guy tells us that they don't have that anymore and to look on the menu on Google. So I did, I looked on Google and their website and guess what? It STILL says that they have the general torso!!!! Every time the man answers and we want to add extra egf and add chicken to our rice he says we can't do that but however when the women answers it's no problem they just charge us extra. Which we are totally fine with! This place has now became a disappointment!!! Since we felt that we've been lied to and it's always a hassle with the guy answering and taking our order we've stopped going...
