Poco Loco — Restaurant in Toledo

We went there for a birthday party. We didn't eat there but we met the group there for a Pickleback shot. The waiter was a bit confusing by bringing out the pickle juice first. We asked about the Jamison and he said we hurt his feelings. Confused by that we said it was ok. He then told us to order them at the bar ourselves. The total was $75.00 for 9 shots. I thought it was outrageous but it was our friends birthday. We watched him then try to put queso and guac on multiple different bills, when people we were with commented that they didn't order that he said he would do them a favor and take it off the bill. Wait. What? They didn't order it!! This was done to the 4 out of 7 couples that were there. When we walked out the one hostess, dark hair, tall, pretty said have a nice night. I said, thank you, you also. My husband then said the same thing. The shorter blonde said in a very sarcastic tone, oh no you have a realllyyy good night! I looked back at her with a smile and said oh my God and laughed because she was obviously hitting on my husband., which is fine, he's hot!! After walking out, I looked back and both hostesses were staring at me with disgusted looks on their faces and I asked, did I do something wrong? They both laughed at me and then looked me up and down and exchanged words between the two of them. I asked again if I did something wrong and they both turned their backs on me. I told my husband and he was kind enough to call and talk the manager. He mentioned how rude they were when I did nothing to provoke them to act that way. The managers response was, they are little girls. I then chimed in and said that is your excuse, that they are little girls!? This is how you run an establishment!? He actually hung up on us!! So, my husband being the protective man he is, went inside to let the manager know how inappropriate he handled the situation and how unprofessional the entire matter was. We. Will. Not....

I would love too give a review about the food, but even with being there for roughly 30 minutes we were barely even served. We were seated a little after 8:15 pm (closing time showed 10pm.), and they didn't seem overly busy since we were seated right away. After sitting for 25 minutes our server came to our table with 3 waters and apologized. We met the server with smiles and understanding and upon asking us for our drink orders we had a question about the margaritas. Our server did the correct thing, and went to get someone who could answer our question. Upon returning with the other server, they answered our question, and as soon as we went to order we looked up and suprisingly both servers had walked away. At this point it was clear that we where ready to order. At one point we thought our server was returning to our table, but instead went to check on the table behind ours, who had no needs from what we could hear. Our server then walked away for a second time. At this point 3 more people had walked in and been seated. We could see that the servers were all ignoring us as we made eye contact with them and at that point we had been there for well over half an hour, and all we had been given is water. We had planed to order an appetizer, 3 meals and a few drinks, but my patience had been worn thin so we got up and left. It was a very disappointing experience. I am not certain what we did to deserve such treatment, but I'm glade to say we found somewhere else to go where we found much...

Poco Loco has excellent food and ive had great dining experiences with them so I do recommend eating there for sure......

I just had to leave a review because they need to get their to-go order system in check. I called in an order to pick-up at 6:40, they told me it would be 15 mins....i arrived exactly at 7. I went up to the bar and the bartender said my order should be out of the kitchen soon. He gave me my check and never check on me again. I sat from 7:02 to 7:30, a half hour with no employee ever acknowledging me, waiting for my food that was supposed to be ready at 6:55. I know they were busy but i was basically abandoned because i wasnt dining in and they were slammed. It would of been nice if they wouldve offered some chips or a water or something since i had to wait super long for my to-go order but nothing like that happened. I finally got my order and went home and of course something was missing that i paid for. My bad for not checking my bag before i left but i was in a hurry and annoyed. I called the restaurant and they just told me they were busy because they had two big parties there (like that has anything to do with my situation) and said i could get my missing food another time. Kind of a bummer that they couldnt compensate me for wasting a ton of my time and forgetting some of my order.
