Came to this bar on the weekend and what a disaster. People at the door don't understand who a regular for years is? (I sang on the stage years ago when it was another, better bar. Not to mention I was a top fan on Facebook but not now I'm sure ). Even worse, I went out to smoke a cigarette on the patio and was told I had to be seated, while others were standing without a mask. Guess the employee eating pizza and drinking with a walkie talkie just wanted to cause trouble!
This bar has little left to offer. Overpriced food? Sure.
Below average Bartenders? (outside of Julie, Justin and Barb) Check.
A dj on the weekend who plays the same ten songs and spends more time drinking than checking the sound or engaging the crowd? Ya got it.
Entertainment? The karaoke is fantastic and probably the best still in the area. It's the only reason I ever gave this bar even half a chance. Angie is literally the only bright light in entertainment outside of Ms. Vermont that has worked there in all the years. Otherwise the bar only cares about holiday shows that will bring them money, missing the point of giving Queens a chance to survive during a pandemic.
Management? Well. Not good. Any bar that doesn't close due to the illness of a worker is suspect in my opinion. Can't tell you how many bars on the level of this one closed to deep clean and make their patrons safe. Especially when they serve food! I guess I missed when this place was closed, oh wait it wasn't.
In the end, I'd hardly call this a bar anymore. It's an open party for prissy guys to hangout at. If you ain't in the club, you're screwed.
Here are a list of bars that you can walk to in the area that are far better:

Read moreI was on crutches only a week out from extensive knee surgery. We called before the drag show started and asked for a table to be reserved near the entertainment but out of the way so I was safe and people weren't inconvenienced. They said they didn't reserve tables normally but made an exception. It was a great table and the gentleman that took care of that for us was so kind and thoughtful. The drinks were strong but great. Prices reasonable.
The outdoor patio is very closed in and warm for winter weather. An awesome place to hang and watch the shows on 3 big screen tvs. The entertainment was epic. The guys and gals definitely knew how to put on a show with loads of all-around beauty, sass, some sweet moves and fun personalities. ...
Read moreOne of the best LGBT+ bars I’ve ever been to! Drinks were at least half the price you’d typically spend. The bar service was top notch. The shows were what you’d expect from a gay bar however the time slots were awesome. Each show was only about 30 minutes and then the dance floor was back open. Much better this way versus running a 2 hour show that gets boring and prevents anyone from dancing. The icing on the cake was the kitchen that stays open until 1:30am. The menu selection offered a good variety, we ordered the quesadillas and they were good 👍🏻 you can see through into the kitchen and you can tell everything is made from scratch, not frozen junk and the kitchen was impeccably clean! I mean like shiny...
