The food at Camille's has always been very good, we love the Billy's Bianco pizza. Pizza prices are high for a 14" pizza, and they aren't generous with the toppings. Perhaps they are using less toppings in order to not raise prices any more in these inflationary times. We did stop going to Camille's a couple of years ago because the beer prices were getting ridiculous. Along with high prices for a 14" pizza, we decided to go elsewhere. We went recently because we had a gift certificate. The pizza was very good, the fries were exceptional, but the Toscano salad was very over-dressed. The salad was mostly lettuce, there were only three small half balls of mozzarella and three little pieces of red pepper, four olives though. The mozzarella is why I ordered that particular salad. The beer prices continue to be more than other surrounding restaurants. $9 and $10 for a 13 ounce single IPA is too much for a single IPA, maybe for a double or a sought-after beer. We are craft beer aficionados so we have lots of comparisons. A 6.6% IPA should be served in a pint glass. The menu said it was a 7% IPA, but all sources, including the brewery, say it's a 6.6%. We would be OK with a 6.6% single IPA for $9 if they poured a pint. I was hoping that they had added some extra lighting the area where the high top tables are. There's one light pointing into that area. Old people do need more light to read than younger people, but you shouldn't need a flashlight to read the menu. The service was mostly very good, but we spilled some beer and water on the table. We told the waitress figuring she'd wipe it up, instead she brought us a pile of napkins. I didn't mind wiping it up, but it's not what you expect in a restaurant. The restaurant wasn't busy, so no excuse there. I'm sure you will hope we find a place that meets our expectations. We do have lots of other places to choose from, and we do. Until the next gift...

This place is so underrated! Let's just start with that! This is by far some of the best pizza in CT by far!

The ambiance of the interior is soo cool relaxing and chic with also really great music!! There is even a little lounge seating section for those that get a little sleepy after a good meal like this!

When my wife and I got there we were kindly greeted and seated promptly and it wasnt crazy busy for a Friday night. Our waiter nick was so cool and very nice and started us out with water. We ordered the buffalo wings and garlic bread bites and that was a perfect amount of food to start. Then came what we were really waiting for, the spicy roni! This is by far my favorite pizza they make it has red onions crushed red pepper and small diameter thinly sliced pepperoni that comes out so crispy. The crust is somewhat like what you see at these very traditional places like the famous frank pepes.

We finished with fried dough bites that come with a chocolate/Nutella sauce that is to die for!

All in all the bill for such a great night was amazing considering all the food we had. Every time I leave here I always ask myself why don't I come here every day!

After years of going and never having a single bad experience or bad thing to say with perfect consistency through the years I can confidently say this is the type of restaurant that is worth an hour drive or more to...

First time going to the restaurant. Different atmosphere for sure inside, but not a terrible vibe. Outside was really cute. Our waitress was sweet. Big issue though. So I ordered a Billy Biancos pizza. Sounded great. Ordered and asked for the truffle honey on the side. I was told no. I explained the reason I asked was to be safe due to being type 1 diabetic. Waitress asked and she came back with a no. Kind of surprised, but I guess why wouldn't I be. Asked one of the managers as they were bringing the pizza to the table (I believe it was a manager) and they said in the years he's been with this company that they hadn't allowed toppings on the side to be served. Told me day 1 of training they train their employees to not accommodate toppings on the side, rather than on or in an order. (This being after we got wings and got blue cheese on the side...). Overall, just didn't get much a straight answer and still unsure on why they wouldn't take in consideration someone's health a bit more so. Pizza in moderation is fine for diabetics just to set that record from my choice of dinner. Hopefully maybe a review could open some perspective on the matter and perhaps have a create a...

Solid across the board but it won't blow your mind. The sarsaparilla root beer was an interesting beverage that tasted closer to a life saver than traditional root beer. The fried mozzarella was crispy, salty, fresh, and flavorful. A solid 7.1/10. The burrata margherita pizza was most delightful when eating bites with the burrata, was very tomato sauce forward and on the sweeter side, with a solid crust. Nothing mind blowing here, but you could do a lot worse. 6.5/10. The calzone w/ meatballs benefited from the solid dough used in the pizza and the ricotta was very smooth and light (like it was whipped) and the other cheese was nice, but the meatballs had a strong anise flavor which really dragged down the dish. Even removing the meatballs from the scoring, it would be a 6/10 at best. Meatballs were a 1/10. All together, you won't be disappointed by the food but there is definitely room for improvement both on some major objective fronts and on the margins. Would recommend coming prior to 6pm on a Saturday. We were here around 5:15pm and had no wait and a small crowd. By 6pm the restaurant had a wait.

If you ever wanted a good wood fired pizza I would highly recommend Camille’s Wood Fired Pizza. A pizza here could easily feed one person because how easy it goes down. When I went they had a season special of fried green tomatoes with pesto, sun dried tomatoes and whipped ricotta. The fried green tomatoes were crispy and paired really well with the sauces. For my meal I chose the bacon n’ eggs pizza. It’s topped with sunny side up farm fresh eggs, pancetta, fresh mozzarella, fontina cheese, scallions, and truffle oil. The pizza was good but a tiny bit too salty for my liking
