first time trying the place and I have to say it was the worst experience I have ever had at anywhere I've gone to eat. service was ok and the waitress wasn't that great, the food took almost an hour to come out of the kitchen, people that got there after us got there food first, we also never got asked to have a refill on our drinks. we were not allowed to substitute food for something that we actually wanted we were forced to get what they offered or not get it at all and still pay the same price. I don't eat much so I also order off of the kid's menu, I ordered on of the kids' meal like I always do so I got two things and there was no age limit on that menu so I thought it was alright but our waitress didn't say anything and put my meal down for something that was way more expensive and offered more food that I also never received. when we went to go check out, we split our checks and for something that should have been 10 dollars was 16 and when I said something about it they said I got put down for one of the adult meals instead of the kids meal and was told that it wasn't allowed but instead of fixing the misunderstanding they still made me pay for a meal that I didn't order and when the waitress was asked she said that's what I ordered even though I didn't so I ended up paying 32 dollars for 2 people to eat when it should have been 24. overall service is horrible they don't admit to mistakes that they made or try to fix the issue they just blamed it on me, and everything is overpriced French toast and bacon should not be 17 dollars. another thing instead of the owner helping or trying to get food out faster she is just walking around with her baby not help out anywhere, I think this diner is in over their head and they need to work on their service and fix their prices and also work on their service manners and care more about the customers and actually pay attention to what...

Honestly, I’m genuinely disappointed when we called to place an order we had asked about getting the cheesecake waffles which was advertised on their Facebook page. They said that they no longer had that OK cool we said can we call right back to order cause now? We don’t know what we want. We went to call back. The phone rang for like five minutes before we finally hung up and then when we tried to call back again, it kept saying it was busy whatever we finally got a hold of them 10 minutes later we placed our order. They told us it would be ready in 20 minutes. We arrive 23 minutes after placing the order, I walked in. I asked to pay for my order because i was told my order wasn’t ready. She said that I had to wait until my order was ready to pay. OK that’s fine cool I waited in there for 10 minutes past the time I got there which would make our order 33 minutes instead of a 20 minute wait when I finally walked up and asked them to check on it, I was just looked at with a blank stare Finally after 20+ minutes of waiting in their waiting room my food was ready. I paid for it and left. I can’t say the food was horrible. It was like any other diner breakfast which isn’t bad nothing to complain about, but just extremely disappointed with the service and also the girl I talked to on the phone when trying to place the order. Brand new restaurant for locals looking for a great breakfast or lunch. It's located in the little plaza next to Big Y.

I had delicious scrambled eggs with cheese, home fries. dry rye toast and coffee. COFFEE quality is KEY for me and a deal breaker if it's bitter, weak, or like French Roast. Whatever they use is very tasty! Yippee! Eggs were fresh and kudos to the cook on his second week cooking. Counter service with smiling waitstaff and plenty of workers to tend to customers.

The fellow seated next to me had a gigantic burger with onion rings that looked devine!! There is a dessert display hard to resist!

I forgot to take a real look at the menu, but it seems they cater to a eclectic clientele.

If you follow FB, Willington page, they did an outstanding job promoting their opening. Almost all tables were occupied so I guess Maria's Diner is a hit!

This is the type of place we've been begging for!!!!

PRICES ARE GREAT, considering inflation. I had no problem with bill. A good alternative to more pricy places.

One little thing (I'm really critical, sorry)... atmosphere. I would not have selected the poster art on the wall. Needs a better "look". (To each his own) Maybe local sport team pix, or historic places? A minor detail that doesn't affect taste of food! Ha!

I'll return. Yes. I shall be a regular fixture. And I'll bring my x-word puzzle! Thanks!...
