Being a Celiac eating out especially away from home is tough well we found this little place the other morning and thought we'll let's try it. I was impressed! I explained to the young gentleman I was a celiac and couldn't have gluten and that i was not just sensitive i absolutely could not have it. He calmly says no problem we even have gluten free toast to go with your omelet. I lit up, it made my whole day that I had no worries and that they were well informed on celiac disease. I got my omelet and toast it was actually neatly plated and looked amazing, tasted amazing also! We will definitely be back there on our next visit to the area. When a business is not only educated on your allergy but practices safe handling and has amazing food, that's a over the top gold star in my book. Thank you Mandy's Cafe it felt amazing to feel normal, have less worries, and eat great food!

Stopped by Mandy’s Cafe & Deli in Tomah, WI, for a casual bite and found a charming diner experience with some quirky character (just check out that utensil holder!). The place was very clean and had that classic, no-frills diner vibe. Service was on the slow side – took 5-10 minutes for a friendly server to greet me, but considering she seemed to be running the whole show, it’s understandable. I went with the club sandwich on white bread and a side of fries. The sandwich was solid – the turkey and ham tasted fresh and flavorful, stacked generously with crispy bacon, lettuce, and tomato. The fries? Surprisingly good, crispy on the outside and just the right amount of salt. This was my second visit, and while the food quality is consistent, the wait times could be improved if they had more help. Still, for the price and quality, it’s a good stop if you're not in a rush.

We were passing through and found this restaurant on Google Review with a 4.5 star so we stopped in to give it a try. Food was not what we expected from a small dinner. Big menu with lots of choices. All ite.s had a unique twist. My Filthy burger was excellent as was the Chicken Pot Pie Soup. One kid liked their kids burger and fruit bowl. The other kid and spouse had Biscuits and Gravy and did not like it at all. They love biscuits and gravy and kid would not even touch it after the first bite. Spouse said it was terrible gravy. Based on our experience the burgers are excellent, as is the fruit cup and Chicken Pot Pie Soup. Spouse does not recommend the Biscuits and Gravy.

We would have given half a star if there was an option. It was hard to tell if we were in a cafe, a boutique, ice cream parlor or liquor store. While the server was friendly, she forgot one of our waters, the ketchup we requested and to bring out our salads before our meal. My husband got the prime rib sandwich and a side salad, I ordered the soup and salad. The salads came in bowls about the size of a large coffee cup, they mixed up our orders and my husband’s salad had an unidentified object in it that he almost broke his tooth on. The crackers that came with my chili were stale, and while it wasn’t bad, it wasn’t very hot and I would have expected something a little larger for the price. My husband’s prime rib sandwich was mostly bun, the prime rib itself was too thinly sliced and half of it was gristle. He barely had two bites of his sandwich and when the owner (at least we think so, the other two employees called her Mandy) came over to clear our table, she didn’t ask how everything was or ask why my husband didn’t want a to-go box when she offered it. Overall, we were disappointed since we chose this cafe because we prefer to eat local, and since we were also on a road trip, we felt it was a poor...

After waiting 1 hour and 40 minutes for our food, we finally just left. I can’t rate the food because we never got any. About halfway through our wait time, we were told they lost our order and took it again. Finally when we had been sitting for 1 hour and 40 minutes, we found our server and told her we were leaving because we never got our food. I’m not sure if it was a lack of help or just a lack of good help. They seemed to have enough workers for the amount of customers. A decent wait staff would’ve noticed their tables sitting without orders and been on it. One table by us waited a long time just to get their order taken. Two other tables by us had waited quite a long time for their food but at least they finally got it! Breakfast food should be coming out way quicker than that. There were only 2 of us and tables with more people that got there after us were getting their food before us. This service was completely...
