Al's Famous Pizza — Restaurant in Toms River

I ordered three times from this restaurant the first two times I ordered cheese fries and the cheese was spoiled. I told the girl who took my order. Please double check the cheese for any future customers coming in. It’ll be a shame to get spoiled cheese. Mind you that was already two times. I ordered my food again and got raw chicken I called to let them know I received an uncooked meal. The guy kept going back-and-forth with me. If I still had the food I told him I immediately threw that out because of what I was served I’m not going to eat this meal knowing that raw chicken was on my fries and who knows if the other chicken was cooked correctly, so no I did not keep the food. I then waited for him to drop back off a meal to me because that was told I didn’t receive anything so not only once but twice but three times they messed...

In total admission upfront, I have been friends with the owner since high school BUT that does not play in my review; so please read the other reviews people posted too. I have alot of pizza places by my house that we do not go to or order from. We live 20 minutes away and there literally is 10 places we pass to get there. Als pizza from the crust to the sauce is the best. Crust is crispy but not overcooked and not mushy. The sicilian is to die for. Again I do not like doughy crust and this is just right. The chicken ceaser salad rocks. When we have a party at the house we get trays of the sausage and peppers, eggplant parm, and chicken parm. My kids get orders of mussels and love them. So you may think I am biased but I would not spend the extra time and/or gas if I had a good pizza joint by my house. Als Rocks and that is all...

I ordered from this establishment a few times and MY ORDER IS ALWAYS WRONG. for some reason you can get a half chicken cutlet with cheese..yes CHEESE WE WILL REVISIT THE CHEESE PROBLEM IN A MINUTE..anyhow you have to order the whole a spend like 14$ but if I order chicken Parm without sauce and American cheese instead of mozzarella / provolone I can get a half of sub...its the same thing.. moving on my next order cheese burger no bun cheese fries use sliced cheese over the fries not the cheese sauce..IT WRONG EVERYTIME HOW DO YOU GET THIS WRONG.I WORKED AS A SHORT COOK FOR YEARS..LINE COOK GRILL COOK AND CURRENTLY CHEF.all I can say i have never seen such incompetent in all my cooking..I rate them a 2..a...
