Cool Beans Coffee House — Restaurant in Toms River

I'm here every weekend because they have the best latte I've ever tasted - their jack frost is my favorite, and their other specialty candy bar lattes are outstanding - hot, iced, and frozen

Their food is also amazing, however a bit overpriced, though they aren't exactly skimpy on their portions and it's consistently an excellent experience, so I don't mind

Some of my favorites are caesar salad, chicken bruschetta wrap, chicken cheddar melt wrap, chicken parm sandwich (my favorite ever). I've tried other baked wraps which were also fantastic, but their nachos, burgers, and quesadilla are also good. They also have great desert, soups, and muffins

Atmosphere 4/5: My only complaint is wifi being locked to Comcast users. I would love to come by on a day off with a laptop, but I can't use the wifi here. It's a bit strange to open at 11 for a coffee house, and I think a place like this would benefit from some more comfortable seating...

Staff is very very nice, sweet, and talkative. It can get busy on the weekend. They have a coffee bar to sit at as well as a dining area. There coffee selection is amazing. They have hot, iced, frappuccinos, lattes, and a wide selection of hot/iced teas. There are flavored coffees like Caramel toffee, candy bar versions, and coconut. They have a bunch of desserts as well as packaged cookies and muffins. There is a wide selection of food varieties: appetizers, vegetarian, pizzas, burgers, hot/cold wraps/sandwiches, and salad meals. The meals come with an oiled pasta salad, mayonnaise based potato salad, or mixed side salad. For an additional fee you can substitute for fries or another item. We had the bruschetta grilled chicken sandwich and the balsamic chicken sandwich (without mozzarella) and then the Kentucky pie (chocolate chip cookie...

I wanted to try cool beans because it had a good rating, and I respected the pun. After trying it, I'm disappointed.

Cool Beans is part of a strip mall. Parking is easy because the shops in the strip mall aren't too busy. The counter is immediately in front when you walk into the store, and there are tables behind it.

You can either order to stay or to go. I got it to go. I ordered the Jack Frost mocha, but that is definitely not what I received. The drink I got tasted nothing like what was supposed to be in the drink, so there was likely a miscommunication; however, the flavors that were in there shouldn't be in any drink ever. I can't describe what it tasted like, but it didn't taste like it should be consumed.
