I am not satisfied with Ashley at this location. I bought a recliner there and it broke within a year. When I put in a claim the gave me a little of my money in credit and told me they count not fix the chair and we had a credit towards another chair. So we picked a much more expensive chair.With in the first year the frame failed. So they came in and replaced the frame So now we are in a second year. The chair stopped working. I am having shoulder replacement surgery and need the chair to sleep. I called the warranty company again they told me I had to go on line to place a claim. Which I did. It took awhile for them to get back to me and tell me they no longer deal with Ashley. Nobody ever informed us that the company changed. Called Ashley they gave me the new company. I called to put in a claim. It took awhile to get an appointment. They gave me Feb 14th. They never showed up . When I called they said the appointment was cancelled but no one called me. Time is ticking and my surgery is soon and need this fixed. Another appointment Feb 21st. They came and told me it was the remote. Now the need to order it. May not come till after my surgery. I told them I need the chair. Warranty company said they will replace the chair. Ok so back to Ashley we pick a chair was told the chair we picked was available and will let me know delivery date. I get a call yesterday to tell me the chair now is not available. Besides that the credit was over 900 dollars we find out they chair he was going to sell us was more than 200 hundred dollars less plus shipping plus another warranty added on. So now I still don't have a chair my surgery is next week. I am disgusted with Ashley and their poor quality furniture. My husband and I are average size people and have no children living with us just in case anyone is wondering. So now what do I do. The sales manager wanted to give us the floor model till the other chair is available but if anything should happen to it we will be stuck with it I am sure. Many people have probably sat in that chair playing with it so who knows what condition it is in and we are not going to be responsible for it failing and being stuck with it. It was also stained. I purchased a couch on Black Friday here and we received a $50 promotional gift card for being one of the first customers that day. When we used it at check out our salesman tried to stop us because it was taking even more off the total that I had already price matched to their online pricing (which was cheaper than the “sale” they were having in store that day).
After mentioning multiple times throughout the sale process that I needed this piece delivered to South Jersey, I was promised a delivery within the next month. My salesman even looked into the system and called me the following day of the purchase to confirm they can deliver.
3 days out from our delivery, they called to confirm. The next day, my salesman called to inform me that they wouldn’t be able to deliver by the promised date because I was in South Jersey and they only deliver on 2 days a month to this area? Mind you, this is over a month now we’ve been waiting. They offered a refund of my “delivery fee” but I would have to wait until January for my couch.
Their excuse was that even though we confirmed the location multiple times, no one on their end checked the “county” that my address was located in? My salesman told me that there wasn’t anything they could do besides offer the delivery fee back. So I cancelled the order completely.
Apparently none of their employees communicate with one another. I thought this mess was handled after I was refunded, but then I received a phone call this morning from my salesman asking where we left off? Like what?! He said there was no refund in their system and it was even looked at by a manager! So we went through the refund process yet again. Hallelujah!
Nope, got another phone call that they refunded me twice and need to charge us again.
What a mess. In the end, I never spoke to an actual manager, never got my couch, and didn’t get that damn $50 Black Friday gift card! I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Read moreMike was an excellent salesman - he was friendly, thorough, and I didn't feel pushed into making our purchase. Around 4:15 in the evening, I had contacted the furniture store regarding an interest in outdoor furniture. Mike immediately had explained to me that the showroom had a floor sample, but he would need to approve it with a manager in order to sell it to me. He texted a picture of the set to me, and from the picture, alone, I had liked the set. I had explained to Mike that we had to get dinner in our two teenage children And that we would come to the showroom within a half hour of our conversation. He had responded back to my text, in a timely manner, and minutes before 5:00, we had arrived at the furniture store. He introduced himself, and we followed him to the outdoor furniture set. I liked the color, my husband liked the comfort, we both liked the coffee and end table, and it was great that the set included both a couch and a loveseat - in our immediate family, we have 21 other people besides the four of us. When we were sitting on the couch, we noticed a chair and ottoman that matched the set. Mike and the manager were very helpful in offering a great price, that would include the chair and ottoman. We did a little friendly bargaining back and forth, and by 5:45, we were finishing the transaction with Mike. Mike's honesty about the product was appreciated, but for both my husband and me, it was his friendly disposition that helped to make the sale. Mike should be commended for his professionalism, and he should be compensated, in addition to his commission, for his detailed information on a quick phone call that encouraged me to come into the showroom. This was a wonderful experience, and I absolutely love my outdoor set. Actually, as I'm typing this review, I'm on my new couch, I have a magazine on my lap, and I have a cup of tea on my new outdoor coffee table. ...
