Lusia's Polish Deli — Restaurant in Toms River

Oh boy,the place it terrible.I would say 40% of the product they sell is expired and is still sitting on the shelf with expiration date.The store is dead,the lady sits there doing nothing and is so lazy she can’t go over what they sell and pull expired items off???? Also,by law every item has to be priced but most of their inventory is not, which gives them a chance to come up with any price that comes to their head and charge whatever they want.Why do I have to ask for price every single time I pick something up??? Terrible experience,will never go there again,stay away from it.Oh,and they are overpriced at least by $1-$2 on everything,you can buy the same product in other polish deli cheaper.A...

We wish they had hot Polish food, they would make out great if they did. Their kielbasa and pierogi's are very good. They have delicious Polish baked goods like babkas and strudels. The owners are really nice. My husband is 100% Polish, and I his wife is Irish and English, but I love Polish food. The smell of their fresh kielbasa is intoxicating when you come into their deli. I've shopped at Luisa's for many years. Followed them from their former location further north on Rt. 9 many more years ago. Owners are extremely helpful and happy to explain anything. They have even helped me translate greeting cards that I wanted to send to family to get the right sentiment. Kielbasa, kabanosy, kieshka, good Polish mustard and head cheese are always on my list.
