Food is good but the level of rude, nasty people is unreal. Normally, they're just way late on their ETA. Today however they hit the top five for biggest screw yous' in the history of food. Ordered an Italian sub with just light lettuce and oil and vinegar. Nothing more, very simple. They put onions on it and that might not have been a big deal except for my allergy to said onions.

What happened next really went beyond words. We called and were told that it was our fault for not advising of the allergy and that no refund would be issued. We obviously were less than satisfied with that seeing as there was no reason to mention an allergy to something we didn't ask for. Apparently their policy is that they can make whatever they want with ingredients not asked for and refuse to address it unless the allergy was noted on the order. We finally were told we could get a refund but had to bring the item back. We were clear based on the initial experience that remaking the food couldn't be trusted between their inability to make a simple sub and the attitude that suggested we would get a sub with 50% phlegm content. When we went back they had made a new one. This time they added tomato's, when all that was ever asked was light lettuce. They also explained that we could have that one and just hope they hadn't covered it with enough spit to get it's heritage thru ancestry dot com. They even made it wrong twice. The first time it was onions and we got told it was our fault for not explaining there was an allergy to something we didn't order in the first place and therefore we weren't due a refund. The second time it was a battle amd we didn't want the sub but they outright refused to refund the order. Very clearly told us tough 'blank' and that we could take it or leave it but no refund either way. It wasn't even that the girl at the counter was bad or inexperienced. She co firmed the order and the owner/manager was screaming in the background like the Soup Na,y from Seinfeld. Telling the girl, almost berating her that they would not be giving a refund, like I walked in and asked for a refund on something I had finished. I even added some pictures of the tomato's they decided to throw on the second sub. After the first and the drama it caused, I can only assume this was done as a way to say 'screw you' for having the insane expectation that the simple sub sandwich you ordered and paid for would be as ordered. Or at least that a mistake would be handled professionally and fairly. I didn't expect a belligerent owner...

Pretty good pizza but the service is awful, which is why I won’t be going anymore. They always seem to get something wrong with my order. Of the four times I’ve gone there in the last month, three times had issues. Here are the issues broken down:

First time, I ordered a large bbq chicken pie but the cook mistakenly made it small. I was OK looking past it because this was the first time error, and the cook offered me $5 to cover the difference between the small and the large I had ordered. Turns out, I got ripped off because the large that I paid for is $8 more…

Second time, I show up 35 mins after ordering, which is when they said they’d have my food ready. I show up, and turns out they had given my pepperoni pie to another customer and had to remake mine. Made me wait 10-15 mins.

Third time no issue and the food was fine.

Fourth time (today), I show up to a massive 30 min line out the door. Not a bad problem for a business to have… but I pay for my order and the same chef as the first time (see above) informed me that he mistakenly made me a plain Sicilian instead of a pepperoni and sausage. Who makes that kind of mistake? He tells me I can wait 20 mins for him to make me another one, which I refuse after having waited 30 mins to pay. The guy instead offers me $5 cash to make up the difference, but I point out how I was ripped off the time before and so I wanted to get the exact price of what I was owed. He says I could take a $10, but I’m not one to rip off people, so I correctly determined I was owed $6, which is all I would take. He then offered me another pizza to take for free instead, which I also refused. He made efforts to resolve my issue, but I had had enough after several recurring problems with this location.

It’s a shame because the pizza was fairly good. But the service problems are persistent, and all I’m looking for is for steady service with no issues. I will be looking at other pizza places in the area forever...

Manager was incredibly disrespectful to my wife over the phone. We ordered a large plain pie, a california chicken cutlet sub, and a philly cheesesteak wrap. They put literally about a quarter of a piece of chicken cutlet into the sub, loaded it with lettuce and tomato and sent it out for delivery like that. My wife called to ask for a new one and the manager said no and argued with her and cursed at her. Then he said oh well chickens expensive. I went down there furious at what I heard and brought the sandwich to show him, he was so surprised thats how the sandwich went out for delivery but said id have to pay for a new sub. No apology for speaking to my wife like that or being unprofessional. I had it delivered after i got home from work, not wanting to go out again afterward, paid for delivery, tipped the driver, and still had to go down there to take care of this nonsense situation. Would never go back, the pizza was not good at all, and the cheesesteak wrap, again also missing meat in it and covered up with lettuce and tomato. Zero stars, to anyone thinking about ordering there or eating there, do yourself a favor and go to Lennys in Lavallette. 1000x better, and the staff always do...

In Seaside Heights for a few days and ordered delivery to our motel. Delivery was in a timely manner and came exactly when they said it would be here. As for on the website it says FREE DELIVERY, I was charged $2.00 fee for delivery. I don’t care either way, but it shouldn’t say FREE if it’s a charge. Pizza was cooked a bit uneven, one was cooked perfectly, other half was a bit overcooked, sorry I didn’t get a pic of it. We also ordered Zeppoli's, I have to say they were very strange, NOTHING like I’ve ever had in my entire life! They were essentially a small pie cut into 6 slices and deep fried, OMG I’ve never seen a hard as a rock, super crunchy, piece of dough. They weren’t soft, doughy If that’s something you’re looking for, go for it! Overall idk if I would order again.

Tourist trap in an area that is mostly not tourists anymore. Vegetable chicken soup. Expect what ever they have left over. Broccoli? Really that is all it was accept a few bits of carrot. Ok now on to the chicken noodle. Oh sorry, it is chicken broth and spaghetti. I've been order from them for years and since they reopened they are terrible. The pizza is good at times and bad at other times. During the summer the food is the worst. Service? Well how about walking in with 6-8 people working behind the counter and not one says hello or be with you in a minute. This place has been talked up so much because of its reputation but it does not deserve it based on its current performance.
