Starbucks — Restaurant in Toms River

Today I added the Starbucks app on my phone for the very first time. I planned to get a Pink Drink for my daughter and myself. I walked into this location in the Stop & Shop Shopping Center off of Rt. 9 in Lakewood. The two employees were busy filling orders, 1 Black and 1 White. I patiently waited, all the while being ignored. A young lady walked in and stood behind me, also waiting. Not one of the clerks bothered to acknowledge my presence, and I stood there patiently. I moved closer to where the 1 employee was busy making drinks. I was still ignored, as she moved away to another position. Finally, the lady standing behind me left. I also exited, still without a word. This all transpired in the last few minutes. My first introduction to Starbucks was not a good one, to say the least. I did not get the Mother's Day special today for my daughter and myself, but it wasn't due to lack of patiently trying. Ordinarily, an employee would turn to a customer and say, "We'll be right with you in a moment." Not here,...

I’m convinced this is the fastest Starbucks in existence! I don’t usually go during peak hours, however, I consistently order from this location via mobile app in the late morning (~11 am) and despite the fact that the location is still full of people with 10s of drinks being made my drink is always ready within 3 minutes!! (Maybe even quicker)

I order on the app on the way to work, and place the order about 3-4 minutes out, and it’s ready every time I pull up! (I pickup in store, I like to move, so I never do drive throughs)

They also have large amount of staff, (I counted 9 one time), and the baristas are all super friendly!

They also have ample seating area with large tables that have outlets and USB ports built right in.

11/10 would...

I am a loyal Starbucks customer and this location is the worse from my experiences. Bad service and cold coffee.

I am a patient and understanding person when it comes to service, but this location was so disorganized.

I was the first person and only person to be served and it took at 3 mins. There were 3 baristas, one of which made eye contact with me and didn’t do anything, 2 by the drive through window, 1 by the oven. Yet nobody care about the customer that is standing in front of the register.

And when I finally got service, I was overcharged and the coffee was wrong. And I still walked out with an u satisfied coffee. I didn’t want to bother anymore.

I only wanted a blonde with almond milk.
