Just save your time and money, go to U.S. Pizza Co. Right down the road. I see why the ratings are dropping. Terrible service. Let me tell you about our experience. Me and my 8 month pregnant wife come in to eat, the restaurant has two other parties inside, not busy etc. we were sat right away, our beverages were brought quick. We placed an order for some bread sticks and some spinach dip nearly $20 already. When the waitress came to take out order, my wife requested the child’s portion spaghetti...this is where it gets absolutely ridiculous. The waitress said no ma’am I can’t put that in for you. I laughed a little and thought maybe she’s being funny? Not at all! I said, well it’s a child’s small portion right? That’s why it’s $6? It’s a smaller portion. She said it’s not her rules just how it is and we couldn’t order the dish. She gave us a minute to decide and check on her other table. When she returned I had to ask once more, why we couldn’t order the small portion of pasta, since thats the only way to not have so much waste etc. my pregnant wife doesn’t eat that large of a portion. The waitress said she’s not under 12 ( which nowhere does it mention age restriction) just simply states child’s portion spaghetti. I replied wow, this kind of blows my mind we can’t order that. No sense in paying $13 for a plate of spaghetti that would be wasted!? I then said okay, well what if we just place this order to-go instead and I’ll do a small pizza and we will do the child’s spaghetti. To which she replies, well there is no proof you have a child...what!? You have got to be kidding me. Then she says I can just get my manager if that works for you, I replied yes but My wife just says we can go somewhere else, I don’t like the service and the waitress just walks away.
So we left, the hostess could obviously tell we were not treated right as she was sincere when we were leaving. My wife, already emotional from pregnancy, crying because the long week we have had trying to get moved into our new home. I assured her it was fine, they just have no respect for how they treat guests it seems like. We ended up going to U.S. pizza Co. Just up the street. Our waitress there could see our frustration and asked what was wrong, I didn’t hesitate at all to tell her about our experience! Even the table next to us and the bar got a kick out of what happened! They said our best bet was to come here instead anyway, service has gone down there recently.
To conclude we had a wonderful experience there, the staff was great! My wife got to order what she wanted, and we tipped our server $100 for great service and the fact she never once gave us a hard time about trying to order anything.
Who pays for the dang food anyway when a child’s portion is ordered!?! The adults.
Shame on you Gusano’s shame on you. The amount of disrespect, how you made us feel, how you treated us. You treated us poorly, not professional or courteous at all. We will do our best to let everyone know how you treat guests.
I’d love to know who owns this place!...
Read moreMy wife called ahead an order for two pizzas. One was gluten free as she has a gluten allergy. I did not know what she ordered. I was told to pick it up. I was given what I thought was our order and walked out. I paid a little over $42 total. After making the almost 20 mile trek home, we realized we had been given someone else's order. I immediately called the store and the girl tells me "yes, your order is still here. You can just come pick it up". I explained that I didn't want to make the 20 mile drive back (almost 40 mile round trip) to Springdale and that I just wanted a refund. Since my wife has the gluten allergy, we couldn't eat any of it. She told me that she would gladly refund my money. Two weeks later while thumbing through my bank account, I realize I had not been refunded. I called the store and spoke to a manager. He apologized and told me a regional or district manager is the only one that can refund me and they would be reaching out. A week passes and I don't hear a thing. I call back and talk to a different guy. He tells me the district or regional manager tried to call me twice, but I didn't answer. I told me I had no voicemails or missed calls. He tells me I will be receiving a call. I placed my order on June 16th. As of writing this review (July 20th) and stopping by the store last week (manager wouldn't even come out of the kitchen to talk to me and leaving my number again) this issue has not been resolved. I still have not received a call. Sadly, I've never tasted Gusano's pizza and never will after the way I have been ignored and pushed aside. Customer service is what separates good business's from bad ones. Enjoy your $42 donation. This is in reference to the Springdale...
Read moreGusano's has always been a solid choice for pizza in Tontitown, but our recent visit was made even better by our wonderful waitress, Ariya. From the moment we were seated, Ariya was attentive and friendly, offering helpful suggestions from the menu and making sure our drinks were always filled. Her cheerful demeanor and genuine enthusiasm really added to the enjoyable atmosphere of the restaurant. Beyond the excellent service, the pizza itself was, as always, delicious. We opted for the Deluxe Chicago Style Pizza and the crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings were generous and flavorful, and the sauce had just the right amount of tang. The bread sticks with cheese were also a hit – warm, buttery, and addictive. While the food at Gusano's is consistently good, it was Ariya's exceptional service that truly stood out during this visit. She was efficient, personable, and made us feel like valued customers. We'll definitely be back, and we hope Ariya will be our waitress again! If you're looking for great pizza and even better service, Gusano's in Tontitown is a...
