Holy MOLY these tacos are SOOOOO GOOD. DUDES AND DUDETTES: ok where do I start. This blue food truck in the parking lot of Country Classic Flea Market on the south side of Sunset is the best spot to pull up to when youâre hungry, when you need a ârealâ Coca Cola in a glass bottle, when youâre hungry, when you need to wait out Sunset traffic, or when youâre hungry. Man these tacos were good. 3 tacos will cost 8.25 (but I just saw a sign on their truck saying they do $1 taco Tuesdays?! And they have other daily specials!). Served with onion, cilantro, lime and choice of red or green sauce (he raised his eyebrows when I asked for red sauce so it must be really hot. I didnât want to find out; I got green). The steak is perfect. The chicken is actual, like, sliced-thin pieces of white meat marinated chicken, not the shredded stuff. Good lord is it delicious. There is plenty of parking. There are a couple tables in the shade and a table in the sun. Iâm not sure if they take card. The tio working there may not be the smiliest but he is a sweetie and I declare him to be my homeboy. There are a lot of sit-down taquerias down the street and across the street and everywhere you look but I will pass them by and come to Taqueria Salv y Mex every dang time. These tacos were REALLY good.
Edit: TACO TUESDAY SURE ENOUGH YOU GUYS....
Read moreThis will be our new spot for tacos. Before we even placed our order the lady running the grill, found out it was our first time there, so she surprised us with a pork, steak, and chicken tacos. We were hooked immediately. We ordered the pork tacos, steak tacos, and a steak burrito. The tacos have amazing flavor and are 100% authentic. The steak burrito had rice, beans, cheese, and cilantro. The portions on the tacos couldâve made 8 even though the order was for 3 tacos. The burrito could easily feed 3 very hungry adults. All of these things make this food truck our new favorite , but the absolute best part is the prices and...
Read moreI ordered these pupusas in the hope that they would be delicious. I received prompt and courteous service from a nice gentleman when I arrived. However, upon getting home, I found that the pupusas lacked quality. The results lacked sufficient pork, and the pupusas were too large. My wife thought the spinach pupusas were okay, and we found the curtido not quite an authentic Salvadoran. I don't know if...
