I went to KFC in Tooele last night - May 1, 2021. I was in a long line at the drive-up window and when I got ready to order - I wanted an 8 piece meal. The person who got on the speaker wasnāt very nice AT ALL!!!
She said āI canāt do that!ā I said - āYou canāt give me any chicken?
And she didnāt say anything nice at all. She said āWe close in a 1/2 hour!ā
Iām not a person to complain very often at all - but not only could they not give me what I wanted to order - there were 6 cars in front of me and 6 cars behind me and NO way to get out - but to wait for everyone one else to get their orders!!
She did not apologize or anything nice!!! If she would have said āIām sorry!ā But Iām sure there were other people who didnāt get to order chicken!!!!!
If you are going to work in a Customer Service Place - you need to know how to talk to your customers!!!! Itās sad that it brought me to make a complaint about KFC - Iām mean itās called āKentucky Fried Chickenā for a reason -...

This time around was at least a small improvement over the last and time before. The employees were very nice yet preoccupied with something other than their job, it is open for dine in now if you don't mind the crampt space and being forced to hear what the teenagers working here tend to think out loud. *My thoughts on how to make it better... Either knock that building down and make a bigger one or build a separate building somewhere else and separate these two franchises that make no sense being together in first place. Hire a new staff and extend the hours so we can "eat great even late" because right now it feels like that would take less time than it does for those patient souls waiting in line at their drive...

I get that with Covid things are difficult, but when I pulled up to the pick up area and saw 4 employees sitting in the lobby I figured one would realize that I was there for pick up. Not being unreasonable I decided to call in. The phone was busy, so I tried again, literally 149 more times. I have a screen shot of my call log. After sitting for almost 10 minutes in the pick up area, I backed up and got in line. The whole time in the line I was trying to call in. I only ever got a busy signal. When I got to the windows I talked with a manager. She told me she didnāt know the phones werenāt working. They are pushing ordering online and call for pick up and their phones werenāt ringing. Sure did offer me a cake, which I declined. The manager was civil, and apologetic.
I should have just canceled my order and went...
