I am a single mother of two that works 2 Jobs and goes to school, One full-time and one part-time. Because as we all know the cost of living is insane these days. I came into the pawn shop tonight to get gas money to go to work. Because of Monica's extremely poor and horrible customer service / treatment of me. I was just suspended from my job for the next 2 weeks, because my company has a zero tolerance policy for tardies and call-in's in the first 90 day of employment. I contacted my supervisor even though they were sympathetic to the situation their hands were tied due to company policy. I really love how Monica finds this all so funny and just before Christmas, so thank you Monica. The next 2 weeks are going to be really hard on me and my kids! Monica was even made aware of me needing gas money for work and thought it was funny. She not only smiled, laughed, smirked and rolled her eyes on several occasions she then told me "Don't come in here asking for favors". Followed by a smile and a roll of her eyes. All I could think in that moment was really, I mean Who does she think she is? does she own the pawn shop? Is she a manager? Do we have to beg her to get loans? This woman is beyond rude and constantly gives attitude. There has been numerous occasions my mother, friend Michelle and I have avoided coming in just because we could see she was working. I've even witnessed her belittle co-workers in front of customers perfect example of tonight. Where she undermine manager on shift making the whole store feel uncomfortable to the point where you could hear a pin drop. She then tried to recover by saying sorry you don't mean to put you on the spot. This manager has to be one of the nicest people you'll ever meet in your life and completely nonconfrontational unlike her. How can she be completely unaware of the fact that her behavior is unsettling. Doesn't she know that most customers who have a bad experience don't say anything They just simply don't come back. And that somebody that's nonconfrontational would rather make peace or let things slide then confront her. she has full confidence that her managers back her behavior. It is sad to say that this once great store is going downhill and quick because somebody doesn't know how to hire people that actually want to work in the customer service industry and know how to handle the public...

This place in Tooele is so bad I will never look or consider another EZ Pawn anywhere. I pawned some items a few knifes a rechargeable spotting light 39 movies and a box set and when I went to retrieve them half of them were missing besides the half that were missing they had to supposedly go find one that they knew where was in the back of the store to bring it to me then they told me that if I was to show up around 10 the next day they would be able to retrieve one of my knives as if they knew the person who bought it would either be at work I E there or that person would be available to bring it back I know for a fact also that I'm still missing one of the knives and they wanted to give me simply $12 or have me try to pick and choose and find my movies and their selection I did not miss any payments yet they sold and lost half of my property somehow to me that seems like selling stolen property but for some reason it's okay for them in this is not Criminal this makes no sense to me and I will never use their service again they are also selling blacklisted items so they are receiving stolen property and selling it I have much better services with other pawn shops I don't know how you lose somebody's items or sell it when they've made all of their payments and and then to somehow know where some of my higher-end items were in back and go get it and have me come back the next day for one of my better knives but still not the one they classified as a sword which it was not but still if you live in Tooele I would highly recommend hi and Mike's or even GSI well...

Bad experience. My husband loves pawn shopping and while he doesn’t like going here often, he decided on Wednesday he would. While he got what he wanted, the employees were awful. Asked for prices for Nintendo games- told him it was $2 each and a blu ray movie for $3.after deciding to check out, he got ignored by multiple employees and even checked out a person BEHIND him before they did him! After checking the guy out the employee began walking away and my husband had to basically yell to get his attention. A manager checked him out and upon ringing up his items- he started changing the prices of the items from what he told my husband. “Oh these games are actually $6... no $8” “oh this blu-Ray $13” and tried to charge my husband $1 for .25 cent movies! None of the items had stickers on them so the manager spent 10 minutes making stickers.

Honestly there is a reason we never went there and just provided us with more insight on why we should not. Lousy service with unorganized employees who try to scam you with your money. Not...
