Mumbai House — Restaurant in Tooele

We are seriously so lucky this restaurant has come to Tooele. Tooele was desperately needing a high quality and delicious sit down local restaurant. The options out here are limited so I was sooo excited to hear about Mumbai house opening. Hands down the best and only wonderful dining experience I've had in this city. The interior is classy and clean. Tons of seating and it is super kid friendly which is such a plus. The service here cannot be beat. We were checked in on often and our glasses were always full. They came promptly to take our order and the food came out very fast. Not only did our waiter check on us, but just about every single staff member checked in to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The food was outstanding! My husband grew up eating Indian food daily so we are tough critics but this place did not disappoint. The curries were flavorful and delicious and you can choose the level of spice. We were given so much rice I had a whole to go box leftover. The butter garlic naan was Soo good and just like a classic naan should be (not too doughy). The atmosphere was lovely and the restaurant was decently full even for a Monday night. It's definitely a little on the pricier side but no more than any chain restaurant and totally worth it for the quality. Everything tasted fresh and cooked to order. This place makes you feel like you are part of their family. They were so happy to have us that we felt truly valued as customers and that is so rare to find these days. 100% going to be our new favorite go to for date nights or family dinners. I wish I took some photos to show it all but I swear it was so good! We will be regulars! A True Gem in Tooele - Authentic and Delicious

Mumbai House in Tooele is a delightful addition to the local dining scene, bringing authentic Indian flavors and a truly welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the rich and inviting aromas of spices and fresh-cooked dishes.

We started with the Vegetable Samusa, which was perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor. My wife ordered the Chicken Coconut Kurma, and I had the Lamb Makhani Butter—both dishes were absolutely phenomenal. Each bite was rich, flavorful, and authentically prepared, leaving us eager to return for more. Having tried both, I would go with the Coconut Kurma. The spices in that dish were a perfect balance. The rice pudding was nothing like I've ever had before. It for sure isn't a "typical" US rice pudding. I loved the unique flavor and for sure will order that for dessert again.

The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server, Jaspreet, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. He ensured our dining experience was seamless, keeping our drinks full and checking in on us regularly without being intrusive.
