7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Topeka

Let me start by saying how much I enjoy 7 Brew Coffee. So far I have tried the German chocolate, Snickers and the Blonde. I have liked them all, but the Blonde is my favorite. The staff is full of positive energy, and they do a great job taking orders and preparing drinks. Even when the line looks long, it will still move quickly.

The only reason why I am rating 4 stars rather than 5 is due to the position of the entrances/exits along Wanamaker Road. Cars traveling northbound on Wanamaker will need to make a left turn using the center lane to enter 7 Brew's queue. Next, cars traveling southbound on Wanamaker that are turning onto 11th street or turning into Azura or even Freddy's also have to make left turns using the same center left turning lane that cars entering 7 Brew use. On two occasions I have been attempting to turn left while another vehicle driving toward me is also trying to turn left. I ended up having to go into the oncoming lanes of traffic to make my turn, which was fine since no cars were coming but this is not always the case. I have also seen two separate major accidents occur on Wanamaker due to this dangerous intersection/interchange. Overall, 7 Brew is a welcome addition to Topeka, and I understand that they probably do not have any control over the situation I previously described. I am just letting others know to watch out...

Exceptional Service from Hadyn at the Drive-Thru!

I want to take a moment to highlight the amazing service I consistently receive from Hadyn at the drive-thru window of the coffee shop. It’s not every day that you come across someone who brings so much positivity, attention to detail, and genuine kindness to their work—and Hadyn does it effortlessly.

From the moment you pull up, you’re greeted with a warm smile and a friendly attitude that instantly brightens your day. Hadyn has a way of making each interaction feel personal, not rushed or routine. Whether it's remembering small details about your usual order or asking how your day is going, they go above and beyond to create a great customer experience.

Even during busy hours, Hadyn keeps things moving smoothly while maintaining that same calm and cheerful energy. It’s clear they care not just about doing their job well, but about making every customer feel seen and appreciated. That kind of consistency and care doesn’t go unnoticed—it’s honestly one of the main reasons I keep coming back.

I have been impressed with 7 Brew since they opened. There early morning crew is amazing as well as late evening around 10 or 10:30 pm and on Saturday and Sunday mornings. They work hard, are friendly and move the line through quickly. But, I have gone out three times in the past two weeks between 6:45 pm up until around 9 pm. There is never anyone taking orders at the cars, cars are backed up, and due to being on a lunch break I have had to leave without ordering. Tonight, I waited and watched the staff stand and visit with what appeared to be the brother to one of the employees. Until they finished visiting no one else was waited on. I had ordered, paid, waited at least ten minutes after being told, I am getting your drink and will be right back. I had been building friends up in Lawrence about how amazing of a job they do. Looking forward to our new Lawrence location opening soon. But, not impressed at all with the second shift staff. I don't think I'll be going back out to the one in Topeka during...
