Edit: I'm not convinced this place is ever open anymore. I've attempted to go during posted hours five or six timesin the past year and they are closed with no sign explaining why. I've tried weekdays during lunch hour and weekends during breakfast, times you'd expect them to be open since that's their usual crowd. I don't know why the guy bought it from Brad, only to try his hardest to run the restaurant into the ground.
This was a 5 star place for many years, but the price gouging and spotty hours has killed this place for me. Despite having posted hours, they will regularly close early or be closed for the day when they feel like it. This place has some great hot sandwich meals, all of which were under $9 two years ago (and on menus posted online). Today, I went in and they are all now $14. That's a 55% increase. Yes, inflation is bad right now, but it's nowhere near 55% so I have to attribute it to price gouging. Bradley's has new owners and is no longer Brad, so maybe that's the issue. Either way, I won't be back until prices are back to where...
Read moreThe food is is pretty good, above average but the pie is the hot ticket of course. I had a special of ribs which were good, not amazing, a side of very good fries, a salad that could have come from fresher greens (with what seemed like ranch dressing from a bottle?) and good, not amazing BBQ beans. I mean for the area, maybe this is great BBQ, again it was good but nothing earth shattering. But certainly good food. HUGE portions so I’m not sure how anyone would have room for pie (so we took two pieces to go). My wife had a chicken sandwich which again good but not memorable. Onion rings were decent. Prices are super reasonable, the interior is super cute. Service was excellent. Fun place, I do recommend it. Now the pie is the star here. VERY good. Had the Apple and Blackberry pie later and the next day (for Breakfast). Yummy. The real star here is the pie and why you should visit. Walk around the area afterwards, kind of a cool, up and...
Read moreIt was the reviews that lead me here, so it's only fair I leave one.
We stopped here on our route back to CA. We stopped in Flagstaff, AZ for a week and just couldn't stop thinking about the Pecan pie we had. We had another week off work, so we decided to turn around and call in an order for 5 more pies. I waited to review for so my mom could try them, and it passed her highly critical taste in food. My bf's family loved it too.
Good portions here. Their biscuits and gravy are some of the best I've ever had. My bf liked whatever he ate, and their grilled chicken sandwich was delicious. My only critique is that they used the cheap, plasticky slices of cheese on my omelette which really lowered the quality of an otherwise good omelette. But everything else is so great about this place i cant ding them a star for it. Can't wait til we're travelling the U.S again so I can get more of those...
