China Express — Restaurant in Topeka

This place use to be my go to chinese restuarant but they have gotten terrible. There is always something wrong everytime I get delivery with them. First off a couple of their drivers are extremely rude and unprofessional. We got delivery about a week ago and they forgot our drinks so I stopped the driver before he left, to let him know. He said he would be right back. We stayed in our living room with the windows opened waiting on him. An hour went by and I called back up there and talked to him he said he knocked on our door and no one answered so he left the drinks on the porch. Like I said we had windows opened and were right by the door we heard no knocking and there was nothing on our porch. So I asked for my money back for the drinks and I NEVER GOT MY MONEY BACK. I ordered again out of convenience last night and the driver was rude he didnt say hi or anything. I ordered French fries for my kids and they gave us fried shrimp instead... MY KID IS ALLERGIC TO FISH!!! I am so done with this place. I will pay extra for mytown2go to deliver us food from another chinese...

Would give less than zero stars if I could because while picking up my order there was a long wait with no apology, just attitude from the workers, and there is legit no AC in the building. One of the guys was sitting on his butt the entire time just on his phone. The other guy looked way too young to work there and probably is. As a pregnant lady, how terrible and honestly dangerous to be overheating like that. My whole face was red from overheating by the time I was able to leave. As I was leaving the guy yelled after me, like how rude? Over something so small and stupid, too, I didn’t confirm my order in front of his face. Oh well, get over it. I’m not standing in that burning hot place any longer than I have to, like bye. How are y’all that cheap that you can’t even afford AC? This place needs shut down. Btw I don’t see any signs saying you must confirm the order in front of you, so maybe put up a sign instead of literally yelling at people. You wouldn’t like it if people...

It's hard to order from them unless you are familiar with the menu. There are no descriptions. You go on what you know of other places. I am new to this Chinese restaurant (I just move across town) and some of the food I ordered was different than what I had expected. Brief descriptions of the food would be a HUGE help. Both on the paper menu and online (really either one and I wouldn't complain). The food was hot and arrived sooner than expect. Our driver was very nice. And the food I ate was decent. Although not exactly what I wanted. I would give them a higher rating if I hadn't paid for food I didn't like and couldn't eat. UPDATE I have ordered twice since and haven't been able to chew through my meat. The taste of my food is bad as well. I think I got lucky the first time because since then everything has been terrible EXCEPT the donuts. Those are...
