Very disappointed with the visit. Service sub par (main barista was curt - refused to refill my water bottle without any explanation), and the drinks were not served the way it's illustrated in the menu and it seemed it's only for marketing.

I was looking for a new coffee shop while visiting Kansas City. Came here after looking at their impressive Spring drinks menu. They are located next to a gas station, very tight parking with limited slots. The coffee shop itself is pretty small, there is one table, few chairs, and feels pretty compact. They do have outdoor seating.

I ordered 2 drinks, both with oat milk expecting to get the drinks served similar to how it's illustrated in their menu (see the pic). Their drink illustrations are very misleading. They refused to serve in ceramic cups.

Rose Cap Matcha: was definitely better than the other drink. Again, didn't look anything like the one in their image. It doesn't have any rose color or flavor in the drink itself. I got it iced, no ice (note that they generally charge 50c for no ice). It tasted as regular matcha latte, nothing extraordinary. Also, it didn't come with rose milk cap as they refused to do it in oat milk.

Pistachio Rose Latte: the drink illustration shows a nuts covered rim served in glass, what you get instead is just a regular coffee, that too tasted bitter and only the taste of pistachio. It lacked any rose flavor. They also refused to make rose cap with non-dairy (oat) milk.

Lastly, I asked them to refill my water bottle, the main barista just refused without any explanation. Also, didn't offer a glass of water instead. She was also very snappy throughout all interactions. I have never seen anyone refusing water. I wonder how they treat other customers.

Overall it seemed they were irritated and not customer centric. Highly disappointing and won't...

I hate how this place always manages to ruin my day every time I come here because the quality of food and drink is good! The service and experience is just always frustrating, whether you try to order ahead or order there. I wouldn't recommend ordering online, it seems to take even longer and be more prone to miscommunication (in my experience). Usually I do try to check in when I am in a rush, but today there was just way too many people to try and push my way to the front, so since I already placed a to go order I decided to just wait my turn. Sadly, that time didn't come until everyone was helped and I was the only one left lol. But, I wasn't in a rush like I usually am so I wasn't upset about the wait. What made me upset was when the baristas realized I was still standing there I was asked "did you have an order?" As if I would just be standing next to their counter for 20 minutes for no reason. Then, when I said I did have an order, and again I made no complaint about the wait time, I was told next time I needed to "make sure to check in" so my order can "get made." A simple "sorry for your wait" would've been fine. Or simply just not saying anything at all and just handing me my order. But the condescending tone turned me off. As if their negligence was my fault or as if I didn't originally place an ASAP to go order? Hopefully the last time I talk myself into...

First time I went in a few weeks ago the owner forgot to add the flavor to my coffee. Totally understand, we can all make mistakes, no biggie, although not impressed either for being my first time. Went in again a couple of weeks ago. I was the only one in there. A gentlemen greeted me. I asked about their chai since I love chai & wanted to give it a try. I can’t do regular milk so said oat milk plz. As he was making it we were chatting a little. The owner was doing a few things right by him, never looked up, never smiled, never greeted me, she was meh:/ As he’s making it I notice he’s using regular milk, I kindly reminded him of asking for oat. He apologized and fixed it. The owner looks at him and rolls her eyes. He said something to her and once again she’s rude and condescending. How awful that she would be rude that way to him in front of me. I’m all for training your employees & helping them do better but ridiculing him that way in front of me was totally unprofessional. I had high hopes. I would be in here all the time since I live close and love to support local but I’ll pass on this coffee shop. The chai was good. The attitude and friendliness, not so...

Nice local cafe here in Topeka, Ks. I'm just out and about looking for the new spots. We'll I just found one. This young couple is holding it down. For all you coffee lovers who must "Caffeinate" the menu will blow your mind. She is the "barista," making hearts at the top of your favorite hot drinks. I was aiming at the oat milk latte( like the crowd), and she said, "What flavor?" Me, I heard the lady before me ask for creme brulee. I'm all about doing something different. She broke out with the blowtorch!!! I had to record it. Now they have the sandwiches and the pastries. So they are legit and friendly. Would I drive an hour to get a latte? Without even thinking about it. This spot is cozy and fresh. Love the vibe, so don't sleep on them. Don't tell anyone, but I think they are about to expand!!! Pro Tip: parking us full in front, just park on the other side of the gas station.

This is my favorite cafe in Topeka by a long shot. The service is always friendly and timely, and every drink and I've gotten has been delicious. Even the desserts are always yummy. I am very impressed with this place, it will remain as my go-to for when I need delicious boba or a fun seasonal coffee and treat. I love that they also sell merch and handmade crafts. This place elevates Topeka and I always recommend it to my friends and family who are in from out of town. Keep up all of your good, hard work!
