Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Topeka

I dunno bout the cute factor even being a factor because my neighbor and friend just was the victim of a clearly coordinated assault and aggravated robbery on their lot. An employee seemed to be a good samaritan at first but in the end their motives are more than suspect seeing as how the good natured attempt at conflict resolution quickly turned into a farse of the afore mentioned all due to the employee's potential collusion. What started off appearing to be a peacekeeper springing to action; breaking up the incident ,actually aided in the egregious offenses growing to fruition by all but giving the would be robber the victim's purse which contained amongst other things the entirety of the victim's recently cashed paycheck; which was clearly the target of opportunity. It just seemed all too sketchy that the robber walked to the location with the victim but left in a car which just happened to arrive in time to ferry the asssilant from the scene just after the employee made the getaway with the loot possible. How strange it seems that all the employees went on about their work busy as bees seemingly totally oblivious to the fisticuffs being hurled back and forth right until the wheelman arrived. Then the do gooder intervened on behalf of the wrong party, and aided in their relatively easy egress with the victims rent payment in hand. It would not be so bad had the manager on duty even just faked like he gave a damn when called apon to help clarify the situation or offer perspective. Edit: I escalated my feedback further by following the link and later that afternoon I got a call. I was told my meal could be replaced that day. But, since I was about to clock-in to my job, they said they could send coupons for free food to me in the mail. It has been a month since that call and still no coupons.

Original post: I ordered my food at 11:30 p.m. This means I was basically the only one there, and I still had to wait a decent amount of time for my food. This didn’t bother me at the time, due to them telling me they were making the onion rings fresh. However, when I got my food (2 1/4 lb. cheeseburgers and a medium onion ring) and went home, I had some of the nastiest burgers I’ve ever seen. They were both burnt and cold. The bacon looked awful and the portioning was all out of wack. I honestly felt sick eating them. The onion rings were good and hot, but there were only 4 or 5. This seems like a huge under portioning due to the wait time and price. I get that it was late and the employees were tired. But if you are just going to use old food that’s been sitting out for who knows how long and hasn’t been made fresh, then don’t work that late. I also understand that the burgers were off the $1.99 menu, but I at least expected them to be hot, taste good, and look edible. Overall sickening, I don’t know if I’ll be ordering food from this...

I tried being understanding but at this point there is no excuse for this location. We live right next to this location, and when we can afford it we like to occasionally go to this sonic as a treat. But ill tell you i have had MULTIPLE times where the service was trash, and so was the 'food' or 'drinks' that they tried to pass off as edibal. And when we say something about the gross food or drinks all we get is a "uhhhhh sorry?" No solution or improvement. Not to mention almost every time we went, it was slow af so they couldnt use being 'busy' as an excuse. Its just pure laziness and negligence on their part. Today was the last straw. We waited 15+min for one breakfast sandwich, 1 order of French toast sticks, and 2 mocah iced coffees. And when the food FINALY came out the drinks were absolutely disgusting wet and covered in syrup (if i grabbed it there would of been a huge mess) as well as the sticks were old and over cooked n the sandwich was a dryed out mess.. Save your money and go down gage to the other new location cause they'll acually give you something edibal so its...
