First time trying Scooters, I usually get Dunkin but figured I’d try something new. Completely bad decision.
The cup was packed with ice completely to the brim. I had to remove ice from the cup to get the straw in. I’m not the type to complain about ice usually, I ordered an iced coffee so I’m expecting a decent amount of ice. But this felt almost malicious, I’ve never seen this amount of ice in a cup from a restaurant before. To top it off, the cup itself was equivalent to a small size at Dunkin’ Donuts, but I paid twice as much.
I also ordered an everything bagel sandwich. I wasn’t expecting it to be great, I assumed it would be some microwaved crap. But I couldn’t even eat it. It was room temperature, had the texture of silicone bakeware, and the taste reminded me of the way cheap hand soap smells.
I essentially paid $12 for a small cup of coffee flavored ice and a rubbery cold sandwich.
If that wasn’t enough, the service was terrible. I realized after the fact that the employee never told me the price, she just told me to pull around and then held out her hand. She had super long (2 inches maybe?) acrylic nails with gemstones and glitter on them. Incredibly unhygienic. And the only thing she said to me was “here” as she handed me my food.
I hoped this restaurant would be decent, because it’s not as out of my way as Dunkin’ Donuts is. But I’ll most definitely never...
Read moreI went on Father's day for the buy one get one free. Forgot to give the girl at the window my phone to scan. Asked if she could cancel and scan my code so I didn't have to pay for 2 drinks this was for my husband for Father's day. She said ok and acted like she canceled and re swiped my card. I was grateful until later that day when I checked my account... Apparently the young lady lied about canceling and re swiping my card or it would have shown up on my Scooter account. I was highly upset and drove up there they were closed but the girl said come to the window when she saw me. I asked her why would she lie like that? No response she just offered my money back, I took the money but when walking off I looked behind me and she was laughing with the other young girl in the store. I will never return to this store super untrustworthy employee and to laugh like it was funny? Nice. When I called the next day to get corporate number the young man who answered had an attitude and wouldn't give it to me. Half the time they dont make the drinks right anyway I will never ever spend another dime at this store. They are extremely rude and disrespectful almost...
Read moreIt's disappointing to see the absence of large cups here; this feels like a significant oversight for a business in the beverage industry. I typically visit on weekends, and I've never encountered any issues during those times. However, on this particular visit during the weekdays, I found the staff to be rather impolite, as they never once expressed their appreciation. It's important to remember that coffee is a luxury, not a necessity, which becomes evident in times of economic uncertainty.
With the economy's uncertain future, you might question the wisdom of building so many of these establishments in one town. Competing with others who have deeper pockets can be challenging. Nevertheless, please know that I appreciate your business, and I hope that feedback like this can help improve the overall experience for everyone.
This was prior to my first sip of coffee, and I must admit, my initial impression was far from delightful. The cold brew had an oddly stale flavor, almost as if it had been sitting for four days, and the white mocha, to my surprise, turned out to be rather bland.
Love...
